May 30, 2001 - Jonny Lee Miller tells IMDB his ex-wife Angelina Jolie isn't the "wild, crazy femme fatale" that people seem to think she is. Miller says, "She's a very, very nice, very generous person - a big-hearted girl. She doesn't get up to any more mischief than your average person - well, maybe a little bit."

May 29, 2001 - ET reports Angelina Jolie will be on the cover of Marie Claire's July issue. She told the magazine on the flight home from her refugee camp visit in Africa, covered in dirt, she felt "real and at my most beautiful.

May 25, 2001 - The Enquirer reports Angelina came dangerously close to death during a 'bungee ballet' scene in Tomb Raider as a source told them,  "At one point she was hanging off a wall and nearly dropped 40 feet to the floor. May 20, 2001 - Bob Schwabach of the New York Times talked about the poor showing of most movies based on video games in his column last Sunday and what may be in store for Tomb Raider.

May 17, 2001 - The Star reports Angelina Jolie warned Billy Bob's co-star in Behind the Sun, Patricia Arquette, to stay away from her man. Recently split from Nicolas Cage, Arquette reportedly has no interest in Thornton but humored Angelina anyways.

May 17, 2001 - Megastar reports Angelina Jolie bought a pair of matching funeral plots for her and Billy Bob.

May 16, 2001 - Angelina Jolie was ranked #21 in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2001 edition, voted on by readers. AJ was at #29 last year and Jennifer Lopez was rated #1 for the second straight year.

May 15, 2001 - Angeline Jolie spills more about her sex life in the new issue of Movieline, where she reveals, "He's an amazing lover and he knows my body. He knows things that I don't know."

May 13, 2001 - Premiere magazine's June issue placed Tomb Raider at #5 (Pearl Harbor was #1) in The Big Guns of Summer list of the biggest expected grossing films of the season. They quote director Simon West saying, "If she hadn't wanted to do it, I wouldn't have done the film. There was no one else who could combine what I wanted."

May 13, 2001 - E! Online reports Angelina Jolie is expected to be at the 54th annual Cannes Film Festival which began Wednesday and ends on the 20th.

May 13, 2001 - AP profiled characters in film like Angelina Jolie's in Tomb Raider which have started a new breed of tough-talking, take-charge females.

May 13, 2001 - The Star profiled how Angelina Jolie is a modern day Marlene Dietrich, who was a bisexual with an appetite for many lovers. A friend of Angelina's told the Star "They share an incredible sexiness that appeals to both men and women. I see Angelina as the Marlene Dietrich of the 21st Century."

May 11, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports some problems on the set of Life while they filmed at the studios of KOMO 4 news in Seattle.

May 11, 2001 - Angelina Jolie was on Entertainment Tonight Thursday from an earlier interview. Angelina said of her character Lara Croft "She's not a reluctant hero, and she's not trapped in the danger. She's really having fun and she's a little crazy. I can't wait to do the sequel."

May 9, 2001 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports Angelina Jolie has been spotted hanging out at Barnes & Noble in downtown Seattle and has been seen looking at Nick Jr., the parenting-tip-filled mag, as well as a periodical about adoption.

May 8, 2001 - In an abstracts.net poll asking if you think Billy Bob was faithful to Angelina while she was filming Tomb Raider, 60.9% said yes while 39.1% said no, with 128 total votes.

May 3, 2001 - The Star reports Jon Voight has been overseeing the remodeling of Billy Bob and Angelina's new Beverly Hills home. Voight has been showing up to the house every day to make sure the jobs being done right so everything's perfect when his daughter and her husband move in.

May 3, 2001 - MSNBC's Jeannette Walls reports a source who is friends with Angelina and Billy Bob have told her, "Angelina has done some wild things in her past but now she and Billy Bob are committed to healthier lifestyles because they’re both fixated on having healthy children. Angelina is very excited about it."
