December 26, 2001 - More details on Billy Bob and a Christmas gift for Angelina as the Enquirer reports him saying, "I mean, we've already given each other everything from tombstones to necklaces filled with our own blood - so what do you do?" What they did was handcraft gifts for each other.

December 22, 2001 - Billy Bob Thornton gave Christmas details for he and Angelina to Associated Press Radio saying, "We decided to give each other one thing apiece. And that's something that we'll make. If you knew anything about how little we know how to make, it's pretty hilarious." Angelina apparently has had trouble making something for Thornton as he revealed, "She's ruined a few things trying to make me something already. Like she tried to knit a scarf and she said it was a real disaster." As for his gift in return, he said, "It's very simple what I'm making her. It's not weird or particularly interesting, but to her, it will be."

December 12, 2001 - The New York Post talked with Halle Berry about her love scenes with Billy Bob Thornton in Monster Ball she says didn't make Angelina Jolie jealous. Berry said, "She and I have a real strong relationship, and we're the best friends in the world." As for her husband Eric Benet's reaction, Berry said, "I had a screening just for him to let him deal with it. At the end of the day, he was able to say, 'I'm really proud of you for the risk you took.' But then he said, 'But I don't like seeing you with another man like that!' "

December 12, 2001 - Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun Times reports despite being killed off in Tomb Raider, Jon Voight appears to be a shoe-in for the sequel. Voight said, "They're writing it right now, and I'm like, 'Angie, is there something for your dad?'" As for dealing with the dead character, Voight added, "Look, I was dead through most of the first one, and that was no big deal. I could talk to her from the Great Beyond."

December 2, 2001 - Angelina Jolie is featured in US Weekly's 2001 Women of the Year 'For Reaching Out' where they quote Angelina recommending others to help as she has done with the United Nations. Jolie says, "Anyone who's identified with me by feeling alone or a bit crazy should know that I've figured it out. Get outside yourself. Get outside your environment. Do something for other people."

December 1, 2001 - The National Enquirer reports Billy Bob and Angelina have returned from their Cambodian trip heartbroken over the fact that they weren't able to adopt a Cambodian boy. Thornton reportedly told a friend, "We tried to get the little boy Angelina has fallen in love with but we can't at the moment. There's too much red tape. We thought we could just come in and go out.
