January 29, 2002 - The Enquirer reports Billy Bob Thornton apparently spent too much time in the tanning booth before joining Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globe Awards. An insider said, "Billy should have taken a lesson from Tan Man George Hamilton on tanning booth tips. The poor guy was beet red when he came out of the Electric Sun Tanning Salon in the early afternoon, and when he strolled down the red carpet in his dark suit and natty beret with Angelina at his side, his face had an almost lizard-green pallor." January 22, 2002 - The New York Daily News reports Will Smith, Angelina Jolie and Renee Zellweger will do the voices for the upcoming cartoon feature "Sharkslayer."

January 22, 2002 - Angelina Jolie's look at Sunday's Golden Globes was ridiculed by fashion expert Steven Cojocaru who said she looked like Groucho Marx and drew a mustache on a video screen to emphasize his point.

January 19, 2002 - Television network E! had a special announcing their list of the 25 Sexiest Women in Entertainment and amongst the top 10 on the list was Angelina Jolie at number 3. Jennifer Lopez topped the list.

January 15, 2002 - The Enquirer reports Angelina Jolie stunned movie execs on her film 'Beyond Borders' when the star actually paid for shoes she ordered for herself on the film's wardrobe. Turns out the practice is so abused most use it to stock up their personal wardrobes.

January 13, 2002 - Jimmy Fallon joked during Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, " Jennifer Garner, star of ABC's 'Alias,' said in an interview that she feels her character would win in a fight against Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dark Angel and Lara Croft. The real winner, of course, masturbating nerds."

January 12, 2002 - The New York Daily News reports Billy Bob Thornton has a plan to fool the tabloids of an impending adoption of a Cambodian baby as the actor told them, "I said to my wife, 'I think I'm going to walk out of the house one day with a watermelon and a blanket.'"

January 10, 2002 - Billy Bob Thornton told Britain's Heat magazine what he and Angelina Jolie ate for Christmas dinner, "We had the turkey and all the traditional things. But we decided we wanted something more this year because we had some of the family come over. So we had an ostrich and a roast pig with an apple in its mouth."

January 4, 2002 - Star reports Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton threw a party at their L.A. mansion but guests grew concerned when Angelina went missing for over an hour. When she finally emerged, she was laughing hysterically with blood on her hands. Jolie had managed to lock herself in the bathroom and had to break out a window and climb out.
