June 22, 2002 - "Ms. Jolie is the only ambassador I deal with who has her own fan club," said Secretary of State Colin Powell during an appearance yesterday at Union Station. Powell was with United Nations Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie to spotlight the plight of refugees.

June 21, 2002 - Britain's Daily Star reports Angelina Jolie has reportedly split from her husband Billy Bob Thornton just weeks after adopting Maddox. One pal says, "If they have split, there is no way Angelina will give up custody of Maddox. Fortunately, I do not think Billy Bob is the kind of person to drag the issue through the courts. He won't stand in her way over the child." Angie's publicist Arnold Robinson insisted, "There is no truth in these rumors whatsoever."

June 19, 2002 - Britain's Daily Star reports Angelina's spokesman Geyer Kosinski is denying reports that Angie will appear nude in the next Tomb Raider. "She will not appear nude in the film, and there will be no surprises," he insisted. "There are no nude scenes at all. Angelina was involved in developing the script, and she didn't feel [those] were necessary."

June 17, 2002 - Angelina Jolie tells the Sunday People she'd like to be able to walk around topless. "You see guys working outside with their shirts off, hanging out," she said. "I'd love to be in a private place like that with Billy and be able to walk around like that. With just my jeans on."

June 14, 2002 - Daily Star reports Angelina Jolie is possibly going to strip for the sequel to Tomb Raider. An insider says, "It will please the 15-year-old boys who can't talk their parents into renting Original Sin for them," but adds that it may be vetoed by exec's. "The makers could put a block on the strip as they wouldn't want Lara to be seen in a bad light," the insider added.
