July 28, 2002 - The New York Post reports the three poodles are marooned in Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob's emptied Malibu mansion, where groomers and caretakers regularly check up on them. And when Jolie is out of town (which is almost all the time) she keeps her beloved Mynah bird at the Amazon Rain Forest pet shop in West Hollywood.

July 27, 2002 - More details on Billy Bob's alleged cheating on Angelina Jolie in the London Daily Star. A report says one of the maids for the couple is said to be pregnant with Thornton's child and a pal of Angie's said, "She was devastated. Billy Bob's a horndog. Angie knew how he was from the start, but had no idea of the extent of his problem. She agreed to kinky bedroom games, but it was never enough."

July 27, 2002 - Conan O'Brien joked during his Late Night monologue Friday, "This is the weirdest thing. According to The New York Daily News -- and they have never been wrong. I've looked it up. Part of the reason that Angelina Jolie is divorcing Billy Bob Thornton is because he cheated on her with their therapist. [ Audience gasps ] Yeah. July 26, 2002 - Billy Bob Thornton cheated on estranged wife Angelina Jolie with his sex therapist, according to reports. British tabloid the Daily Star, claims Tomb Raider actress Angelina ordered Thornton to attend sessions at a clinic in a bid to save their two year marriage - after discovering he had cheated on her with a string of groupies and members of their household staff. But rather than use the counseling to cure his sex addiction, the newspaper claims Billy Bob seduced the therapist.

July 24, 2002 - IMDB.com reports Angelina Jolie is set to suffer more pain because of estranged husband Billy Bob Thornton - with the removal of her tattoos. Friends say the Tomb Raider actress will go through any amount of pain to erase the tattoos and Billy Bob from her life. One says, "Angelina's so distraught after Billy Bob walked out on her, she wants to clear him from her mind and body. She's prepared to do whatever it takes. Even if it means going through the pain barrier." And don't forget about the rumored tattoo on her privates. "I have Billy Bob tattooed down there so any time I do a love scene," she said in the past. "The name is really, really clear."

July 23, 2002 - The New York Post reports Billy Bob Thornton's last ex-wife is now a nutty recluse. Pietra Cherniak, who divorced him in 1997, has fled L.A., cut and dyed her hair, and "removed her breasts" in an attempt to disappear, her former publicist, Edward Lozzi, told Wireless Flash. Let's hope Angie doesn't follow in her footsteps.

July 19, 2002 - E! Online reports Angelina Jolie put her two-year union to Billy Bob Thornton in the past tense on Wednesday, filing for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.

July 18, 2002 - Angelina Jolie and her husband Billy Bob Thornton have been living apart for four months, Jolie said to US Weekly. "I'm angry. I'm sad. It's a very difficult and sad time," Jolie said. "It was a real deep connection, a deep marriage, so it's not that simple to say this or that one thing caused the problems. July 4, 2002 - The National Enquirer reports Angelina Jolie has had trouble finding her hubby Billy Bob Thornton in a desperate bid to save their marriage. "Billy Bob has been confused by the change in his wild, sexy wife over the past several months. She went from this beautiful, good-time gal to a concerned goodwill ambassador for the United Nations and loving mom of an adopted baby. Billy Bob couldn't handle the change. It took all her attention away from him, and he fled." The insider added, "Angelina truly loves Billy Bob but his actions lately have broken her heart... If Billy Bob doesn't act like a husband who is interested in saving his marriage, Angelina may walk away for good."

July 1, 2002 - Shep Morgan of The Philippine Star chatted with Angelina Jolie about 'Life or Something Like It' which opens in Manila on July 3rd. The interview likely is old as she commented on her 'close' marriage to Billy Bob saying, "My marriage is a huge support to living my life the way I want to. I have a friend who keeps me strong and (with whom) I can share everything. And because of that, I’m able to now do so many more things with my life, and see life differently. I have his strength to complement my own."

July 1, 2002 - The Scottish Daily Record talked with a pal of Angelina Jolie about how Angie likes to dress Maddox in a traditional monk's robe with bells attached to his feet. "Angie likes to dress Maddox in traditional Cambodian outfits and she chose his new hairstyle herself. Whenever he crawls away from her she can hear the little bells on his feet so they are very practical. At the moment she is happy to spend time with her son while things pan out with Billy Bob."

July 1, 2002 - Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were thrilled to provide Angelina Jolie with clothes for her upcoming movie 'Life Or Something Like It' (upcoming in Australia anyways). "To us, she is the quintessential modern woman, sexy and fearless," they said. Read more.

July 1, 2002 - This week's US Weekly cover story is on the troubled marriage of Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton. They quote her father Jon Voight saying, "I don't want to talk about it. It's her business." Angie told US when interviewed about her UN work was asked about the split but said, "I can't comment on that." Later in the interview, she said, "In certain aspects of my life, I've never been happier. Other aspects of life are a little more difficult right now."
