October 30, 2002 - WENN reports Angelina Jolie has been feeling the pressure on the set of Tomb Raider 2. Sources report a breakdown in relations between Jolie and director Jan De Bont because he is such a hard taskmaster. A source says, "He's pushing everybody hard, especially the crew, and Angelina feels sorry for them. The pair have a cold, professional relationship. There's no warmth or camaraderie between them."

October 26, 2002 - Globe magazine quotes a pal of Angelina Jolie saying, "Angelina and Jonny realized that they have a very close, loving relationship and what to give it another chance. October 24, 2002 - The Mirror reports Angelina Jolie is back on very good terms with hunky former husband Jonny Lee Miller, who has recently split with fiancee Lisa Faulkner.

October 21, 2002 - The Sun reports Angelina Jolie says her 13-month-old son Maddox wants to play for Liverpool FC. "He isn’t interested in being in movies, he only wants to play for Liverpool," she said.

October 20, 2002 - Angelina Jolie of the Adopt-A-Minefield charity told children at Lostock Gralam, Cheshire, how she was now building a home in Cambodia for Maddox. Angelina said, "We had to have the land cleared for the house but I'm terrified he could go for a walk and step on something. It makes me very aware of what the parents there must feel. It's so unnecessary and so cruel."

October 16, 2002 - Angelina Jolie is set to star as a werewolf in "Bitten," a film based on the novel by author Kelley Armstrong, reports Variety. The story tells of a woman (Jolie) who turns into werewolf after she gets bitten and lives among a secret pack in Canada. She decides to leave her carniverous ways and return to normal life by becoming a journalist and falling in love. She is drawn back to the wolves when a rogue band begins drafting criminals into its pack.

October 8, 2002 - Peoplenews.com reports Angelina Jolie says she still believes she and ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller can "find a way back to each other". Miller confirmed that the pair are in contact, saying, "I am talking to Angelina on a regular basis. She's very well and quite sane.
