29, 2003 - The Sun reports Angelina Jolie has confirmed she has reached
a financial settlement and custody arrangements for adopted son Maddox
with Billy Bob Thornton, finalizing their divorce. Jolie's lawyer said:
"It's an amicable divorce and, although I can't speak for both parties,
I'm sure they're pleased. It's one of the simpler ones I have done." Angelina
and Billy Bob have both signed a gag order, preventing them from talking
about their two-year marriage.
May 28, 2003 - The
New York Post reports Angelina Jolie was spotted shopping in Montreal during
a break in filming 'Taking Lives' with Ethan Hawke, buying two T-shirts
and a skimpy yellow thong designed by Michael Stars.
May 23, 2003 - Angelina Jolie
spoke with Entertainment Tonight on her 'Tomb Raider' stunts -- and the
one that went awry. ETOnline.com has since removed the article.
May 17, 2003 - Maxim magazine
announced their 'Hot 100' for 2003 list, where Angelina Jolie was listed

has a photo of Angelina Jolie in its May 20th issue. The ancient Cambodian
script on her back is said to ward off bad luck.
May 15, 2003 - Angelina Jolie
and her adopted child Maddox were photographed leaving their midtown Manhattan,
New York City hotel for a walk along Madison Avenue. Pictures at ISIFA.com require an account.
May 14, 2003 - Ashley Hamilton
went to the same LA school as Angelina Jolie and told Radio 1, "She's gorgeous!
She was very goth, so you know, she was very into goth and some other crazy
things. She was very pretty, but everybody at school was really scared
of her."
May 12, 2003 - The new US
Weekly has a photo (p.24) of Angelina and Maddox outside her New York City
hotel. Angie said, "Isn't he getting big? Isn't he lovely?"

Daily News reports that Staten Island-based Global Medical Relief Fund's
claims celebrities including Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney, Christina
Aguilera, Mariah Carey Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts and *NSYNC star Justin
Timberlake were supporting Iraqi bombing victim Ali Ismail Abbas' medical
care are being met with many denials. Carey's rep says, "None of it is
true. Mariah is very conscientious when it comes to working with disabled
children, but no one has contacted us." Organizer Cheryl Shuman clarified
that promoters had donated tickets to concerts starring Carey, Timberlake
and Aguilera.

reports Angelina Jolie was spotted with baby Maddox in Pret a Manger, Green
Park.
May 7, 2003 - ABC News Australia
reports Arnold Schwarznegger, Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera are
spearheading the campaign launched by the Global Medical Relief Fund to
bring 12-year-old Ali Ismail Abbas to Los Angeles. Ali is undergoing medical
treatment in Kuwait for burns to 60 per cent of his body.
May 3, 2003 - WENN reports
Angelina Jolie concedes she is becoming more British by the day. She says,
"I've moved here and I'm setting my son up for pre-school. Maddox's first
words are sounding a bit English too. Everything around me is becoming
a little more British."
