actress and UNHCR Goodwill ambassador Angelina Jolie hanged talismans during
the event 'Talismans for a World without Refugees' at the Barcelona Forum,
Spain on Sunday (June 20). The UN is marking Sunday as World Refugee Day.

Good Will Ambassador Angelina Jolie attended the Nansen Prize Ceremony,
presided by Infanta Cristina. This ceremony was part of the events to conmmemorate
the World Refugee Day on Saturday (June 19). The Nansen Prize is a prestigious
annual award, organised by ACNUR to recognize people or institutions that
have stood out for their work with refugees and their rights. The Nansen
Committee 2004 awarded the work of the NGO Russian Memorial. Svetlana Gannushkina,
member of the Council of the Center of Human Rights Memorial in Moscow,
received the prize. It has been the first time the ceremony has been held
outside of Oslo or Geneva, the two cities that traditionally organized

Jolie has been forced to cancel her participation in the Olympic torch
relay because she has to re-shoot some scenes for her movie 'Mr. and Mrs.
Smith'. She was going to carry the torch through Athens a day before the
start of the games, which kick off August 13. Angelina was going to symbolically
hold the torch on behalf of the world’s refugees, but unfortunately, Hollywood
called.

Jolie and her son Maddox, visited the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain
on Monday (June 21) as a tourist. Jolie was spending several days in Barcelona
to take part at the diferent events organized by ACNUR, that are taking
place at 2004 FORUM.

Post reports Angelina Jolie visited the National Geographic Society to
launch World Refugee Day with one of her big fans -- Secretary of State
Colin Powell -- and to announce that she's donating $500,000 to provide
attorneys for child refugees who arrive in the United States without parents.

reports Angelina Jolie has been dating the director of her new film 'Alexander',
Oliver Stone. A friend revealed, "Angelina and Oliver have shared several
dates together. He first asked Angie out on the Morroco set of 'Alexander',
but she blew him off. At the time she was just coming off reports of an
affair with her co-star Colin Farrell and pals say she wasn't interested
in another on-set romance." But Stone won Jolie's heart by paying so much
attention to her adopted son Maddox. "Before shooting was over, Maddox
was calling him 'Uncle Oliver.'"

tells In Touch Weekly Angelina Jolie is "a very hands on mother" with son
Maddox. "For somebody in her position, she acts like a very normal mom,"
the source explained. "She always does everything herself."
June 10, 2004 - Angelina
Jolie is eyeing Russia for her next adopted child. "By the end of the year,
if everything goes well, she will have a new baby," a source told Us Weekly.
The adoption process is apparently already under way, but Jolie helped
things last year while on a goodwill mission to Russia, where she met with
adoption officials and visited orphaned Chechen refugees. "Angelina has
always wanted a rainbow family, children from all countries," the source
added.
