January 31, 2005 - In Touch magazine has learned Angelina Jolie has called Brad Pitt twice at home since his split with Jennifer Aniston to ask how he is coping.

January 31, 2005 - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were recently featured on the 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' feature 'If They Mated'. NBC.com has since removed the pictures.

January 31, 2005 - The Chicago Sun-Times reports Angelina Jolie, a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, will host an MTV documentary on Europe's sex trafficking trade, which, to a large extent, exploits young girls. It will air on MTV Europe in February.

January 31, 2005 - Attending the World Economic Forum along with world leaders and business execs, Angelina Jolie said, "Celebrities have a responsibility to know absolutely what they're talking about, and to be in it for the long run. I think you can do damage."

January 24, 2005 - Star magazine has photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie looking intimate on the Italian set of their movie 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' in October after the cameras stopped rolling as the two strolled through the streets of Costiera Amalfi. Pitt's rep insists that the photo was snapped during rehearsal and that "it's been retouched - and pretty badly, because it looks like her hand is coming out of his stomach."

January 24, 2005 - David Letterman joked during his Late Show monologue on Monday night, "The Golden Globes were last night. Everything went pretty good. Angelina Jolie only broke up two marriages."

January 24, 2005 - The blood was so bad between Angelina Jolie and Doug Liman, the director of 'Mr. And Mrs. Smith,' that Jolie's co-star Brad Pitt pretty much directed Jolie in the film, according to British magazine OK! But the publication also dismisses the buzz that there was any hanky panky between Jolie and Pitt. "You can tell when people are messing around, and they weren't,” a source told OK! "If they had an affair, it was well-hidden. But Pitt took to directing Jolie because she and director Liman weren't getting along."

January 24, 2005 - Angelina Jolie is blasting those rumors that she was a third party in the breakup of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's marriage. London Sunday Express reports Jolie said, "I've been painted as the Wicked Witch of the West and a marriage wrecker. But all I've ever been to Brad is a shoulder to cry on. Half the world believes we had an affair and I'm the one to blame for his split. But the truth is I was there to try to help him through his pain. January 17, 2005 - The New York Daily News reports Angelina Jolie, who has been voted the "sexiest woman alive" and admits she loves casual sex, is said to have gotten between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston - if only in the hunky actor's mind. "You put the two hottest people on Earth together, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and that's going to add up to a lot of heat," Marc Malkin of 'The Insider' said.

January 17, 2005 - Angelina Jolie is so moved by the effects of the December 26 tsunami in South Asia, she's embarked on plans to adopt one of the region's many orphans. "I think if children need a home, to adopt them is wonderful," Jolie told 'Celebrity Justice'. "I will be looking into the orphans that have just lost their parents, but always wherever there's a need. So we'll see how big my family grows over time."

"I've come to realize there's a very strong possibility I might be raising my children by myself, and I have great lovers and friends, but not that great love," she admitted. January 17, 2005 - The New York Daily News reports Angelina Jolie insists she did not break up Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Not only that, she's telling pals she could barely keep a straight face filming the sex scenes in the upcoming 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith'. "She used to laugh because Brad had to wear a special sock in bed, after he injured his Achilles tendon making 'Troy,'" a pal of the Jolie explained.

January 17, 2005 - 'Saturday Night Live' Weekend Update included the following report. Tina Fey: "In entertainment news, if these two [photo of Brad and Jen] were tired of having sex with each other, what hope is there for the rest of us?
