Jolie is taking over from Gisele Bundchen and Kelly Gray as the face of the 2006 campaign, but insiders said, "She didn't show because she realized she would have to take questions from reporters."

September 20, 2005 - In response to the story going around claiming Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie plan to marry in Italy next month at George Clooney's Lake Como villa, which Pitt stayed at last year during the shooting of 'Ocean's 12', 'Extra' contacted Pitt's people, who say the star has no plans to get married on either side of the Atlantic.

September 1, 2005 - Jackie Stallone has revealed who she wants to portray her in her life story: Angelina Jolie. "She's right to play me," the 82-year-old said. "We look similar, although I'm a lot prettier."

September 1, 2005 - The New York Daily News reports Nicole Kidman was touched when she heard that 6-year-old Dylan Hartun, who, like her, hails from Australia, was being treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering for neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer. So she took him last Saturday to see 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. "He sort of knew who Nicole Kidman was, but not really," his grateful mother, Melissa said. "He's really a big fan of Angelina Jolie. He said, 'Do you know Angelina Jolie?' She said, 'No, but I know Brad Pitt, so I'll see what I can do!'"

September 1, 2005 - Mentewab Dawit tells The Sun newspaper she had no idea Angelina Jolie had adopted her child, until the publication tracked her down in a town outside of the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. After seeing a photo of Zahara, Dawit confirmed, "It's true. I am her mother. She's got my nose, my eyes, even my cheeks." Read more.

September 1, 2005 - The People reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have agreed to a television interiew with Barbara Walters to bring their romance public. "Brad and Ang had not gone public as he wanted to get his divorce out of the way and not hurt ex wife Jennifer Aniston's feelings," a source said. "But they feel most people realize what's going on and want the public to know they're serious."

I'm just hanging with your mom."

September 1, 2005 - According to the satirical news website The Borowitz Report, a surgeon who specializes in separating conjoined celebrities said today that he had been unable to separate actor Brad Pitt and actress Angelina Jolie, the latest Hollywood couple to be afflicted with the condition.
