As costumed people walked down her street, Jolie pointed out her favorite outfits to kids Zahara and Maddox. They were spotted furniture shopping Mardi Gras weekend at Pippen Lane, a store owned by the wife of actor John Goodman. "No entourage, no kids," says a spy. "No one bothered them as they spent about $6,000 on furniture for their new French Quarter condo."

February 11, 2007 - Star reports that before succumbing to her illness, Marcheline Bertrand, who was 56, shared tender last moments with her daughter Angelina Jolie and her boyfriend Brad Pitt. "Marcheline was heavily medicated, but she was conscious for a lot of the time," a source explained. "Marcheline asked Brad to take care of Angelina and the kids [their adopted children Maddox, 5, and Zahara, 2, and their biological daughter Shiloh, 8 months]." And she made a similar, equally impassioned plea to her headstrong daughter.
