Just weeks before she lured her new husband away from his longtime sweetheart, she was caught in bed with the leading man of her latest movie. Well, her next movie is with Nicolas Cage in Gone in Sixty Seconds, so it seems a slam dunk that this may have been the very reason for Cage and Patricia Arquette planned a divorce and later reconciled.

May 11, 2000 - Jane Magazine conducted a poll in which Angelina won for the category of ACTRESS VOTERS WANT TO BE (or be with!) --- no word if the voters have check themselves into the psycho ward or carved their skin up yet... Sorry, couldn't resist!

May 11, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca today chastised Angelina for not only marrying the spouse abusive Billy Bob but also for her Billy Bob tattoo. He goes on to say he got confirmation from a Thornton ex about his "blessed organ".

May 10, 2000 - Star magazine is reporting that Angelina got into a huge fight with Billy Bob Thornton just days before her wedding and spent 3 days in UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute under lockdown. She had complained she was going to kill herself if she wasn't treated, according to the tabloid.

May 9, 2000 - Angelina is interviewed in the upcoming issue of Talk magazine, where she tells Chris Connely of her relationship to Thornton ever since they filmed Pushing Tin together "I just went on with my life, but I never really forgot [him.]" She adds that her new moving Dancing in the Dark will include some graphic nudity in lovemaking scenes with Antonio Banderas which she says "I'm going to fight for them not to cut any of it."

May 8, 2000 - More details coming out about Angelina's wedding, as every major TV gossip show reported on it. Both Angelina and Billy Bob wore jeans to the event, and a friend of Thornton's was best man while there were no other witnesses. The song that was played as they walked the aisle was Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers.

May 7, 2000 - Angelina and Billy Bob Thornton were married on Friday at the Little Church of the West on the Las Vegas Strip. This is Thornton's 5th marriage. His last divorce ended with charges of spousal abuse and death threats.

May 4, 2000 - The National Enquirer this week has Angelina and Laura Dern on the cover with the headline "Showdown 'Billy Bob belongs to me'"

May 4, 2000 - Angelina and Billy Bob were spotted at a Nashville restaurant called Granite Falls according to E! Online.

May 3, 2000 - The New York Daily News yesterday had more comments on Angelina's affair with Billy Bob. His publicist, Michelle Bega told them "They are very much together. They are not married and not engaged."

May 1, 2000 - Entertainment Tonight reports that Angelina and Billy Bob Thornton did not get married, but are still happily together, according to her publicist.
