September 30, 2000 - AP reports that Billy Bob is back home recuperating from his hospital stay for a viral infection. His publicist denied the claims his problems were as a result of an eating disorder.

September 30, 2000 - Angelina Jolie's autographed picture is featured in an eBay auction. The photo (item #453330916) is currently unbid at $24.95  and ends October 8th.

September 30, 2000 - Well Angelina's father has joined the cast of Tomb Raider, where he will play Lord Croft.

September 28, 2000 - The NY Post is speculating that Billy Bob's strange diet of eating only orange foods may be what has weakened his immune system. Dr. Ira Sacker called the habit, "very much anorexic behavior" adding "That kind of diet can put you in the hospital. It makes you protein- and carbohydrate-malnourished and it decreases your immune system." Thornton admitted in 1998, "I think I had a little mental problem. I got anorexic. Of course, I denied it to my girlfriend and everyone else who said I had an eating disorder."

September 27, 2000 - Much to the displeasure of Mitchell Fink, Billy Bob's publicist has been spreading misinformation about Billy being out of the hospital. Turns out he's still there and we've also heard that Angelina has rushed back to LA from the UK to be at her husband's side, leading many to believe the heart attack rumors that quickly spread are true.

September 27, 2000 - Jeannette Walls reports that the normally willing Angelina Jolie had former topless model Lisa Bangert come in to double for her in some of the Lara Croft bare ass shots in the film. Turns out Jolie doesn’t want to upset Billy Bob by flashing her ass to the film audience.

September 26, 2000 - The publicist for Billy Bob Thornton is denying rumors that the real reason he was hospitalized over the weekend was for a heart attack. Thornton's rep, Michelle Bega, told the Daily News, "He did not have a heart attack," she says. "He didn't feel well, so he went to the hospital. They kept him briefly, and then sent him home."

September 25, 2000 - We get word that  Melanie Griffith was so worried that Angelina and Antonio were going to have an affair, she got a tattoo on her arm saying "Antonio" similar to Jolie's tattoo of Billy Bob.

September 25, 2000 - Access Hollywood reported tonight that Billy Bob Thornton checked into an LA hospital over the weekend because of a viral infection. No word on whether Angelina returned home on the news.

September 23, 2000 - Many of you have wondered, and now UK Tabloids have caught this first glimps of Angelina during shooting of Tomb Raider.

September 21, 2000 - Pagesix.com's Jesse Nash commenting on Angelina and Billy Bob during a recent Yahoo chat, "Billy Bob Thornton right now just finished recording a country album in Nashville with Johnny Cash and Greg Allman. Matt Damon was there during the sessions, Angelina was not, she was off doing a movie. Do they love each other? I hope so, but remember, Billy Bob's been married 3 times, he left Laura Dern after they bought a house together without ever telling her he was leaving her. She found out in the paper that he had married Angelina in a Vegas wedding. I think Elvis knew more about this relationship than Laura Dern did."

September 21, 2000 - Entertaindom.com reports that Angelina is spicing up her relationship with Billy Bob by constantly altering her image, as she reveals , "I love to radically change my physical appearance. It's good for my work and good for my life. It's really weird because I change constantly and when Billy and I do get together -- both of us have undergone massive physical changes so it's like being with a stranger who you love. It's really weird, but it's really fun at the same time. It keeps our relationship alive."

September 15, 2000 - Laura Dern is commenting on Billy Bob in the latest issue of Talk, when asked who dumped whom, said That was decided for me. … I left our home to work on a movie, and while I was away my boyfriend got married, and I've never heard from him again. … It's like a sudden death. For no one has there been any closure or clarity." 

September 9, 2000 - A pair of interesting eBay auctions featuring Angelina and Winona and Angelina and Billy Bob are going on. The images (items #431192302 and #431987478) are bid at $6 (ends 9/16) and $34.99 (ends 9/14).

September 8, 2000 - Following on our report yesterday, we hear more shocking news of Billy Bob and Angelina's marriage, as eYada.com and the NY Post's Richard Johnson said on the air today that he's heard that their marriage was arranged to help her recover from and deal with a drug problem, in effect saying Thornton was with her more for spiritual guidance.

September 7, 2000 - entertaindom.com reports that Angelina's marriage to Billy Bob is falling apart, as an insider reveals "While Angelina was working in London and Billy Bob was in Tennessee and California, he kept trying to reach her. When she first got there she was really depressed about leaving her husband. She was burning up cell batteries like crazy calling him back in the States. Now Billy Bob's not even a topic of conversation anymore." Apparently she's got her target on her ex Jonny Lee Miller after he broke up with Natalie Appleton of All Saints. Same insider adds, "She appears to be dwelling on the fact that Jonny used to play Tomb Raider all the time. She says, 'This is great. The ex-wife will haunt him forever by playing his hero in the movie.'" 

September 2, 2000 - For those wanting to know what Angelina looks like as Lara Croft, unfortunately this is as close as we're going to get for now. Ebay is auctioning this pencil rendition created by John Crawford. The 9x12 sketch (item #425149808) is unbid at $40 and ends September 7th.
