Kournikova lost in the $565,000 Sparkassen Cup Thursday against Russian
compatriot Anastasia Myskina 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Anna said after the match,
"I wanted to win but the important thing for me is that I have no problems
with my foot in the next few weeks. Then I'll be able to play better tennis
soon."

29, 2001 - Howard Stern was on this morning talking about Anna Kournikova's
new workout video ''Anna Kournikova - Basic Elements: My Complete Fitness
Guide'' that just came out. Howard said it's like soft-core porn and he
thinks Anna doesn't know anything about working out.

Sergei Fedorov has been arrested for drunk driving in Royal Oak, Michigan
on Sunday morning after being pulled over for speeding and failing an on-the-spot
breathalyser test.

queries on Google are any indication, Anna is beginning to be upstaged
by Georgia native and 17 year old Ashley Harkleroad, who is #4 on the site's
top gaining queries for last week. Ashley was asked who her favorite player
is to watch and she replied, "Anna Kournikova -- I don't know why. I also
like to watch (Martina) Hingis because she's so smart on the court. I get
to practice with her sometimes because she trains at the same place I do."
