She was dumped 6-3 6-0 by Angelique Widjaja of Indonnesia, making her first senior appearance at Flushing Meadows. "I didn't expect it to be this way at all," said a visibly upset Kournikova. August 8, 2002 - The Las Vegas Review Journal reports Anna Kournikova and pop singer Enrique Iglesias were spotted making out and dancing on the tables at Light, the Bellagio hotel's hot spot, on Sunday. Saturday they were spotted canoodling in rumjungle at Mandalay Bay. Both continue to deny they are a couple.

August 1, 2002 - Enrique Iglesias was on Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday from the set of his new commercial for Doritos. The predictable Iglesias again denied reports he and Anna Kournikova are an item again saying "I wish" and saying he's glad reports like this are going around because it makes him look like a stud.
