26, 2002 - Entertainment Tonight caught up with Enrique Iglesias at the
InStyle photo shoot (with Reese Witherspoon on the cover) where he revealed
he and Anna Kournikova are just friends. He also revealed that in the future
he'd like to have 20 kids.

Total Request Live writer Elliott Phear gave fans an update on the show
for the week beginning September 2, which had Enrique Iglesias as a guest.
Phear explained, "I found a pretty great pic of On-Reek-Ay with his hands
on Kournikova's butt. Holey MOLEy, Batman! Too funny. So I had our graphics
guy put it in. Well... Enrique showed up, and I talked to him about the
questions. He liked all of 'em except the Anna ones. DAMN. Figgers - they
never wanna talk about the stuff yawl wanna know about. But that's okay,
cause on his behalf, he's a pretty humble and nice dude."

Smashnova dashed Kournikova's hopes for her first WTA singles title with
a 6-2, 6-3 victory in the final of the Shanghai Open on Sunday. "I am quite
disappointed. She played her game, and I didn't play the right way," Kournikova
said. "I tried to mix it up. I should have been more aggressive, gone to
the net more."
September 9, 2002 - The Sun
reports Anna Kournikova is to follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez
by launching her own range of beauty products. Her firm Octagon have teamed
up with a German cosmetic group and plan to bring out the line next year.
As well as perfume, Anna wants to launch a unisex shower gel and deodorant.

Menounos of Entertainment Tonight quizzed Enrique Iglesias at the 2002
NFL Kickoff Weekend in Times Square on Thursday (September 5) about his
relationship with tennis babe Anna Kournikova. Asked if they were officially
a couple, Iglesias responded jokingly, "No, I'm training for tennis." He
continued to duck the question adding, "Yeah, I'm quitting singing and
going into tennis, that's what I've told everyone."

reports Enrique Iglesias held Anna Kournikova's hand and cuddled her before
he went on to wow the crowds at the 2002 NFL Kickoff Weekend in Times Square
on Thursday (September 5). Anna danced at the side of the stage as Enrique
performed Escape, Hero and a cover of La Bamba for screaming fans. Read

York Daily News reports Enrique Iglesias gave Anna Kournikova a good-luck
canoodle before her doubles match yesterday at the U.S. Open. It didn't
work though, as she and doubles partner Martina Hingis lost to Virginia
Ruano Pascual and Paola Suarez. After refusing to talk about her on TRL,
Iglesias consoled her when she dropped by his dressing room before his
performance at the NFL kickoff concert in Times Square.

Daily Record reports Anna Kournikova turned to retail therapy after being
dumped from the US Open and catching boyfriend Enrique Iglesias swapping
phone numbers at the MTV Video Music Awards. Anna and a pal hit New York's
trendy Valentinos and Dolce & Gabbana, as well as The Levi Store.

Mail reports Anna Kournikova was said to have thrown "a hissy fit" after
she caught boyfriend Enrique Iglesias swapping phone numbers with Kylie
Minogue at the MTV Video Music Awards. "Anna hit the roof, she threw the
mother of all hissy fits and totally wiped the floor with Enrique," an
insider said. "Kylie is stunning and Enrique kept glancing over at her.
Anna's attractive, but she gets very jealous."

York Post reports Anna Kournikova appears to be doing battle with a bad
case of acne. "I couldn't believe how bad her skin was," one reporter noted
after seeing her at National Tennis Center's player's lounge, adding, "Then
again, she is 20."

Sun-Times reports two Chicago attorneys have filed a class action lawsuit
against Penthouse magazine, saying their two clients shelled out $8.99
each for a copy of the magazine to see tennis star Anna Kournikova naked.
