January 24, 2003 - Associated Press reports Anna Kournikova could have some serious competition on the Internet. Statistics from the Australian Open's official Web site showed that tennis fans might have found a new favorite among women's players in Slovakia's Daniela Hantuchova.

January 24, 2003 - The Sun reports Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias have split up after a series of fights. The tensions started at the MTV Europe awards in Barcelona, which led to a series of jealous arguments and their eventual separation. "They always had a volatile relationship," a source revealed.

January 17, 2003 - Craig Kilborn joked during his Late Late Show monologue on Wednesday, "Today in the Australian Open, Anna Kournikova double-faulted twice and had 29 unforced errors in her defeat – or, as she calls it, being in the zone."

January 17, 2003 - Anna Kournikova was spraying her serve wildly and crashing to a 6-0, 6-1 loss to Justine Henin-Hardenne, the No 5 seed, on Wednesday. "Was it a match?" she was asked. "Well we were both on court. I think it was a match," said Kournikova, but not that convincingly.

January 16, 2002 - Sky News reports Enrique Iglesias has signed a deal with a top Hollywood studio and they plan to remake the classic teen movie 'The Golden Disc', which makes a star out of a music-mad teenager. Enrique has told studio bosses that he wants Anna Kournikova to play his girlfriend in the movie, too. The tennis babe though has little acting experience, and some wonder if that may be a fatal request. Enrique revealed, "Together, we will be movie dynamite." Shooting for the film is supposed to start in April. 

January 15, 2003 - Anna Kournikova has settled one of the debates at this year's Australian Open -- the fabled tattoo on her back does not exist. "I don't think I have anything on my body, no," she told reporters. "It is a heat patch ... I have had chronic back pain and it is a heat patch I have worn for some years. My skirt is a little lower this year which is why you can now see it."

January 9, 2003 - The New York Post reports Anna Kournikova is sporting a new tattoo just above the crack of her butt. While practicing for a doubles match in Sydney, Australia, Anna sported tape over her tattoo, which insiders say is a sun design.

January 7, 2003 - 2002 was filled with some shocking celebrity couples hooking up, getting married, and of course, breaking up.
