July 31, 2003 - The Daily Star reports Anna Kournikova wants to be the new Oprah now that her tennis career is in trouble. Anna will be hanging up her raquet if her back injury doesn't clear up and wants to move into presenting TV chatshows. "I would love to do a TV chatshow like Oprah. In fact she would be my first guest," she gushed.

July 23, 2003 - The Star Tribune asked model Karolina Kurkova if she has ever crossed paths with Anna Kournikova. "I've never met her, but a lot of people confuse her with me. The name is almost similar," she responded.

July 18, 2003 - Anna Kournikova is on the cover of the August issue of Maxim and says she'd love someday to host a talk show like Oprah. But for now Anna insists she's just a regular 22-year-old gal who loves to shop and hang out. She says, "When I go out, I like to have fun and not think about anything. But the next day I wake up and read about it in the newspaper. Like 99% of the things that I read the next day I didn't even do them." Read more.

July 14, 2003 - News of the World reports Wimbledon finalist Mark ‘Scud' Philippoussis started sneaking off for sex in the middle of tournaments with superbabe Anna Kournikova after he split with model Melanie Maudran. "One of the trickiest problems I encountered was how do you tell a fit, eligible young man that it's probably not a good idea to spend the night with Anna Kournikova before a big match," his former coach Pat Cash said. "By the time everyone turned up at Melbourne Park for the first Australian Open of the new millennium, Anna and Flip (Mark's other nickname) had been enjoying a fling for a while. Anna and he were photographed having a little peck in the car park but things definitely went a lot further than that."
