July 28, 2002 - Variety reports Warner Bros. Pictures has given its long-awaited greenlight to "Pi" director Darren Aronofsky's sci-fi epic 'The Fountain.'

July 26, 2002 - The New York Daily News spoke with Brad Pitt about his huge beared at the premiere of 'Full Frontal', in which he plays himself. "We were supposed to go[to Australia] and then we weren't. Then we were supposed to go again, and we weren't. Next thing I know, I've got this Bin Laden on my face."

July 25, 2002 - MSNBC's Jeannette Walls reports Brad Pitt's rep has denied a Sydney Morning Herald report that shooting of 'The Fountain' had to be moved because Pitt "couldn't bear" to live in remote Queensland. "The Sydney Morning Herald is trying to put all this controversy on Brad," she says, "so they can serve their own purposes." That purpose, she says, is moving the entire production to Sydney.

July 22, 2002 - Jennifer Aniston is on the cover of the new issue of Vogue, where she talked about hubby Brad Pitt. "It's made me more comfortable with who I am to have someone who loves me and accepts me with all of my crap and dysfunction and insecurities and struggles," she said. July 10, 2002 - Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford have resolved their differences after falling out about movie flop The Devil's Own, Newsweek reports. Ford said, "He had a different movie in mind. I have enormous respect for him as an actor and as a man - he's a dear, gentle soul and I really like him. It was rougher on him than it was on me, because I was fighting for what I wanted to do and he was just trying to hold on to what he had, this object that was slipping out of his hands. July 9, 2002 - Globe magazine reports Brad Pitt was recently flagged down by a family of tourists in Hollywood Hills looking for directions. While the parents didn't know who he was, the teenage girls in the back seat started screaming and jumped out of the car to get a closer look. Brad ushered them out of the way of traffic and signed autographs, and told the parents the directions.
