August 31, 2002 - Brad Pitt has grown his huge, straggly beard for nothing - according to internet reports he's walked off the set of his new film The Fountain. Pitt, who grew the massive clutch of facial hair for his role in the film, has put the final nail in the coffin of the troubled Darren Aronofsky movie by walking off the Australian set Friday, according to the Aint-It-Cool website and the New York Post.

August 30, 2002 - The Mirror reports Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are set to buy a pad overlooking Sydney harbour.

August 24, 2002 - Rex Features has photos of Brad and Jennifer leaving the Ivy restaurant on Thursday (August 22).

August 22, 2002 - Cindy Adams of the New York Post reports Brad calls Jennifer Aniston "The Leaker" because she cries easily. She calls Brad Pitt "Goofball."

August 22, 2002 - Brad Pitt was voted a top the Sex Symbol Most Deserving of His Title and Celebrity Couple With The Most Combined Sizzle (along with wife Jennifer Aniston of course) categories for this year's InStyle Magazine Sexy Poll, which asks readers to vote in a series of sexy categories so they can draw up a definitive list of sexy stars.

August 22, 2002 - Britney Spears tells People magazine she recently stalked Brad Pitt's house. Todd Gold, who interviewed her, told Access Hollywood, "A week or two ago she and a friend bought a map to celebrity homes and they drove over to Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's mansion and parked outside. Britney got out of her car to try and look over the gate and Brad started driving out of the driveway. It took her by surprise and she fell, but she scrambled back in the car before he could see her. She said, 'I felt like the biggest dumbass ever.'"

August 21, 2002 - Jennifer Aniston is on the cover for InStyle mag's September issue, where she talks about her ideal evening is "staying at home and watching sunsets, or kicking it after an evening out with my husband ... having a big bottle of water, reading a good book, and taking off my shoes."

August 18, 2002 - "Brad and Jen are like Liz Taylor and Richard Burton," a source close to the couple tells Star magazine. "They don't always get along, and they can have some fierce fights. But they love each other so much, it's scary. They're very intense."

August 13, 2002 - The Chicago Sun Times reports Brad Pitt reportedly has turned to his "Snatch" co-star Vinnie Jones to help him work on the Cockney accent he'll need to reprise the Michael Caine role in the remake of "Alfie." Pitt has made several trips to England and stayed with Jones at his Hertfordshire home to immerse himself in the language. On top of that, Jones made a tape of rhyming slang for Pitt, which he's been listening to constantly.

August 12, 2002 - The Sunday Mail reports Jennifer Aniston hasn't tired of married life with Brad - despite his hairy monster beard. A pal said, "They are so happy together."

August 10, 2002 - Jennifer Aniston talked with KTLA at the 'Good Girl' premiere on how she and Brad have managed to keep there marriage strong for two years. Feedroom.com has since removed the video.

August 9, 2002 - So what does Brad think of Jen's new role in 'Good Girl'? "[This is] three times for me," he told ET. "It's my favorite movie of the year!"
