We suddenly got obsessed with the Food Channel," he said. "The English guy, the Naked Chef - yeah, Jamie Oliver, he's great."

July 23, 2003 - Us Weekly quotes Brad Pitt saying of his type of woman, "I like girls like my wife. She's funny, she's a pain and she makes me laugh. She's not the greatest at sports, but she still tries, which makes me laugh more. She gets on my nerves, and then she makes me laugh again.'

July 23, 2003 - Us Weekly reports Brad Pitt has returned home from filming in Malta, where he shared a romantic lunch on the terrace of the Balboa restaurant in West Hollywood. "They looked happy and peaceful," a source said. "and like they had a lot of catching up to do."

July 20, 2003 - The Daily Record reports Brad Pitt almost became a porn star - but had a good reason for saying no. Pal Thom Racina said: "He was asked and turned it down saying, `My d***'s too small'."

July 16, 2003 - The Evening Standard reports Brad Pitt has had shots of his legs replaced on 'Troy' - because they didn't have that "Gladiator look". Producers on the film decreed that Pitt's legs were "too thin" - and reshot close ups using a more muscular man. A source confides, "Brad's a great guy, but close up, his legs were just too thin. I think the costume department were trying for that Russell Crowe-Gladiator look." However, publicists for the movie, in which Pitt plays Achilles, counter that they do not comment on movies "currently in production, and certainly not on the subject of the leading man's legs". 

July 14, 2003 - Star magazine reports Brad and Jennifer fight like cats and dogs, but that only makes them more passionate lovers. One of their disagreements is about their home. "Jen likes things to be 'cottage pretty' with fluffy, comfy pillows and chintz prints," a source revealed. "Brad's taste is more contemporary. He'll bring home a piece of sleek furniture he saw on Melrose Avenue only to have Jennifer get mad at him for not consulting he first. And she'll spend a lot on some bright, cheery, overstuffed chair. When it's delivered, Brad will tell her he's not about to live in a 'frilly femme house'." A friend adds, "That's just part of being married. They believe that getting their feelings out makes their relationship healthier. I think fighting keeps them together."

July 11, 2003 - The Sun reports Brad Pitt is a secret Manchester United fan. Pitt revealed he loves the Red Devils while on the set of his new movie 'Troy'. And he said he was gutted when Fergie sold David Beckham to Real Madrid. Read more.

July 7, 2003 - The Sunday People reports Brad Pitt confessed it is hard keeping his modesty under wraps but he's grown to like his 'Troy' skirt. He said: "It's like a kilt although it's a bit awkward with all my tackle hanging out."

July 7, 2003 - The Sun reports Brad Pitt has banned fellow 'Troy' cast members from looking at his feet because he thinks they're ugly. Pitt is supposedly refusing to wear sandals but instead hides his feet in leather boots.

July 7, 2003 - New York Magazine reports Brad Pitt is in serious talks to design West Coast hotel and bar spaces for Whiskey Bar impresario Rande Gerber. The two have narrowed it down to Palm Springs and Las Vegas. While talks about partnering with the Venetian in Sin City reportedly fell apart, the two still want a Vegas outpost, with George Clooney as a financial backer. As for Palm Springs, Pitt has already visited the desert city to scout several plots of land.

July 4, 2003 - Brad Pitt had to wear a mini skirt for his part as Greek hero Achilles and the Sun reports that he admits: "It took a few weeks getting used to the skirt, but I quite like it now. It's a bit awkward with all my tackle hanging out. You've just got to pay attention and strap it down because the skirts are short. Somehow the Trojans got the longer ones."

July 4, 2003 - Spies tell Neil Sean of Sky News that Brad has inked on the dotted line to play Captain America in a big screen adventure film. He said: "I wanted to make an all-out family movie - something that all ages can go to. And as a child it was my favourite comic." Read more.

July 2, 2003 - The Sun reports Brad Pitt has banned cast members on the set of movie 'Troy' from looking at his feet because he thinks they're ugly. He has even refused to wear sandals, hiding his tootsies in leather boots instead. Brad plays Greek soldier Achilles in the epic which is being shot in Malta and Morocco. A source said: "He's happy with the rest of his body but no one ever sees his feet."
