Aniston's rep, Stephen Huvane, didn't know why the actress' finger was naked but denied rumors that her marriage to Brad Pitt is on the rocks. "Everything is fine with Jennifer and Brad," Huvane told The New York Daily News. "They are together now and will be enjoying the holidays together."

December 27, 2004 - As rumors continue to fly about a possible Jennifer Aniston-Brad Pitt breakup, Aniston's publicist Stephen Huvane wearily denied the splitsville talk Tuesday. "They are fine," he told The Chicago Sun-Times. "They are together as we speak and are looking forward to enjoying the holidays together. There is no split. Those stories are totally false."

Pitt, in London promoting 'Ocean's Twelve,' even called off a party for his 41st birthday. A source told The Sun in London: "Brad just wants to help her through this rough time. His career is important, but Jennifer comes first." But the Sun couldn't identify Aniston's friend, and other reporters dropped the story on the theory that the tragedy may have been concocted so that Pitt can duck unpleasant obligations. Pitt's people didn't return calls.

"Because there is such a large ensemble cast in these Ocean films, you don't end up working as many days or as many hours on the days you do work," he tells The Calgary Sun. "I'd just come off Troy so filming Ocean's Twelve was a bit like a holiday with a bunch of close friends. There was a lot of joking around. When this group gets together there's a decidedly low level of maturity."
