January 28, 2007 - The Enquirer reports that George Clooney dramatically handed Brad Pitt a beautifully-wrapped gift at his 43rd birthday bash at Il Sole in Hollywood, saying: "I hope you like it, pal, I had it specially made just for you." Brad opened the box, looked stunned and said, "What the hell is this?" He held up his gift - a T-shirt with "Dad of the Year" emblazoned across the top   and below it, handmade from rubber and sewn on, were disgustingly realistic renditions of baby poop, baby barf and pee stains. Over the screams and giggles, Pitt told Clooney: "Very thoughtful of you, George."

January 28, 2007 - The New York Daily News reports Brad Pitt was shooting 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford' in Calgary at the same time Robert Duvall was making AMC's 'Broken Trail' nearby. "Brad really looks up to Duvall and asked him to cameo in his film," says a snitch. "Duvall said, 'Sure, if you cameo in mine.'" Brad declined.

January 28, 2007 - On a smoking balcony at the Golden Globe Awards, Us Weekly reports Courteney Cox approached Brad Pitt, who responded with a bear hug and said, "Hello, sweetheart. It is so great to see you." The group chatted about their kids, with Pitt quipping, "We did Finding Nemo, but they've been off that for a while. We have a 5-year-old!" Angelina Jolie, standing a few steps away, finally gave an awkward hello before leading Pitt away.

January 28, 2007 - People magazine reports that Jennifer Aniston's best friend Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette were spotted making their way toward her ex Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Beverly Hilton the night of the Golden Globes. Cox and Pitt hugged each other warmly, Pitt then turned to Jolie saying, "Meet some great friends of mine." After a brief hello, Jolie and Arquette start to turn away, but Pitt reaches out to his old buddy   and gives him a hug around the neck and a kiss on the cheek. A moment later, they went their separate ways again.

January 28, 2007 - Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Wednesday night, "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now planning to move to New Orleans. They want to escape all the media attention in Hollywood. I don't -- do you think the with their new home? I know FEMA will ignore them."

January 28, 2007 - The New York Post reports 'Extra' correspondent Tanika Ray was in the lobby of the Beverly Hilton after Jennifer Hudson won her Golden Globe when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walked by and Pitt kissed Ray, chiming, "Congratulations!" Had Pitt mistaken her for the 'Dreamgirls' star? "I assumed he was congratulating me on getting one of the only interviews with [him and Angelina] on the red carpet," said Ray, who is lighter-skinned and more petite than Hudson. "But honestly, I didn't know why Brad Pitt kissed me on the cheek. It's Brad Pitt kissing me on the cheek! Honey, I could care less why." Pitt's rep said he was on location and couldn't be reached.

"We set it up so no one knew they were here," owner John Ferrigno tells The New York Daily News. Ferrigno would only admit to their visit after they were off-island because "they were extremely nice and took care of everybody, and I didn't want to ruin their stay."
