December 28, 2000 - Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were deemed an honorable mention in The second annual Salon.com Readers' Choice Awards in the category, "The celebrity you most suspect of being an armpit burrower." Salon.com said of Aniston, "The supreme Pitt burrower in 2001. She's no doubt looking for meaningful conversation and a lost bobby pin," while saying of Pitt, "He's looking for a good script."

December 22, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca lists Brad & Jennifer at #19 on his George W. Shrub Awards saying, "I'm almost as traumatized by this hitching as are their lawyers. (Reportedly, there was no prenup.) Not only did B & J defy my predictions and wed away, I hear the good-lookin' dude bathes regularly now. It's pretty obvious who wears the shower cap in that family."
