March 31, 2001 - Apparently Access Hollywood will be hanging out with Britney Spears and *NSYNC this weekend and they will be reporting on them Monday as they will all be on hand at the Family Celebration to honor Bill Clinton this weekend.

March 31, 2001 - Britney Spears is  featured in Teen People's new 25 Hottest Stars Under 25 issue.

March 30, 2001 - Glamour magazine is featuring Britney Spears in the May issue where she tells the magazine, "You're going to think I'm crazy, but we all have inner demons, things that make us upset, and I just picture them and put 'em in my throat. I use a different demon every time - like, if I'm stressed out about something ... or if I miss my Mom." Spears also mentions her boyfriend Justin saying, "He's an Aquarius, so he's all about being independent - basically, the same as me. We have to have our freedom. That's why it's really cool with J, because he's such an individual - when we come together, it's great."

March 30, 2001 - An ad insider chimed in on the Britney and Christina soda deals saying to the U.K. Daily Star, "The gloves have come off. It's a fizzical battle no one will want to miss."

March 29, 2001 - As was revealed earlier this week in our message boards, The Star reports Britney Spears is prepared to dump Justin and has shunned his offers of marriage. A friend tells the tabloid, "Brit won't make the commitment. She has told Justin that she doesn't want to mess up a good thing by getting married."

March 29, 2001 - Britney Spears is featured in a series of kill pop-icons games and movies on Newgrounds.com. There are dozens of other celebs to mame as well. Check it out here if you're so inclined.

March 28, 2001 - MTV had contestants karaoke Britney Spears songs where the winner gets to go to LA to hang out with Britney as she films her new movie. The winner was Loren who sang Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know and was the closest in guessing when Oops.. I Did it Again was released (305 days). Britney also called in to talk about the movie and her Pepsi commercial. Britney says she's still at the beginning stages of the new album and is hoping to starting working with Dido.

March 28, 2001 - Britney Spears was pictured in the Mojave Desert on the set of her debut movie just entitled Going On The Road last Friday.

March 27, 2001 - The lines of Coke vs. Pepsi/Britney vs. Christina will apparently cross according to USA Today as they report Coke will activate a yearlong endorsement deal with singer Christina Aguilera. Read more.

March 25, 2001 - The Britney Spears Pepsi commercial was actually 2 commercials at 1 minute each. The second included the Bob Dole guest spot.

March 25, 2001 - Deborah Gibson reveals to AP that she's working on a black comedy about teen-star rivalries for VH1's summer original movie series. Gibson says, "It addresses the fabricated rivalries between stars like Britney and Christina (Aguilera), and Tiffany and myself. Rivalries which, in my case, never existed."

March 25, 2001 - Drew Lachey is commenting on comparisons to their rivals saying, "No, we're not a stadium group. I think music fans have unreal expectations of the music business now. Right now, we have basically three phenomena going on: Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and Britney Spears. It's very rare you see this in your lifetime, let alone see three of them at the same time that can go out and sell the type of records that they do, and the type of tours that they can put together, and sell consistently back to back to back." March 24, 2001 - Conan O'Brien joked about the Pepsi commercial last night saying, "Bob Dole is going to be appearing in a Pepsi commercial with Britney Spears. Yeah, apparently Dole says that if this doesn't cure his erectile disfunction nothing will."

March 24, 2001 - Erin Brockovich is speaking out against Britney Spears according to Worldpop. "I do worry about kids looking at Britney Spears and walking away with a different message. I don't think there's anything wrong with Britney Spears, but I don't think she's putting out a great message to 12-year-olds who may want to emulate her without understanding the whole sexual side to what's she's doing."

March 23, 2001 - Britney Spears was shown behind the scenes of her new Pepsi commercial with what appears to be choreographer Wade Robson.

March 23, 2001 - UK's Heat magazine talked to Britney Spears Kentwood Baptist Church pastor David Kelly who is concerned over Britney's sexy videos and rumored smoking and drinking. "Smoking and drinking isn't what Christ wanted. It is disobedient. If Britney does things which are not in accordance with the scriptures, God will chastise her."

March 23, 2001 - Jay Leno joked about Britney Spears last night saying, "This weekend at the Oscars, it's the debut of Britney Spears' big new Pepsi commercial. And she is the perfect spokeswoman for Pepsi. They both have plastic jugs. So I think it works out."

March 22, 2001 - Access Hollywood revealed who is the special guest star on Britney Spears Pepsi commercial and as expected, it's Bob Dole. There was even a Pepsi commercial for the commercial on Survivor Wednesday.

March 21, 2001 - More details on Britney's upcoming Pepsi ad from Allpop. The commercial will air on Yahoo! on Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, two hours before it airs on TV. Read more.

March 21, 2001 - Access Hollywood will be behind the scenes tonight at Britney's Pepsi ad and they previewed the segment Tuesdsay night.

March 20, 2001 - In an abstracts.net poll asking if you think Britney Spears lipsyncs non-dance songs in concert, 50.4% said yes while 49.6% said no, with 5030 total votes cast.

March 20, 2001 - The New York Post, just weeks after revealing Christina Aguilera's nipple piercing asks, "Which teenage songbird is more perforated than she lets on? She not only had her nipples pierced, but her nether regions as well." Hmm... then again, Aguilera, recently turned 20, is no longer a teen. As we've reported, the nipple piercing story has also been tagged with Britney.

March 20, 2001 - MSNBC's Jeannette Walls is reminding readers that Britney's new movie isn't actually her first. Britney played a stewardess in Jack of All Trades, an indie film that has yet to find a distributor. A source revealed "As I understand it, there were some problems with the film, and they’ve been trying to re-cut it to make it better. Let’s just say it’s no ‘Citizen Kane.’"

March 19, 2001 - The New York Post reports Britney Spears recently landed a pair of size 6 jeans once worn by Marilyn Monroe that fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger had paid top dollar for at an auction. After admiring the jeans, Tommy quickly gave them to Britney.

March 18, 2001 - Britney Spears stopped traffic while filming What Are Friends For in Louisiana earlier this week. Molly Andrews, who was at the scene, commented, "I have two younger brothers and they're both obsessed with her, but my parents wouldn't let me check them out of school to see her so I came instead."

March 18, 2001 - The British manufactured pop group Popstars act Hear'Say topped Britney Spears record for fastest-selling debut single in British history. Pure and Simple sold 160,995 compared to Britney's 127,970 copies for Baby One More Time.

March 18, 2001 - A Super Bowl XXXV football autographed by *NSYNC, Britney Spears, Aerosmith, and Nelly is being auctioned at AllStarCharity.com. The football currently is bid at $1225 and the auction ends March 23rd. Read more

March 15, 2001 - The novel written by Britney Spears and her mother, to be called A Mother's Gift, has been picked up by British publisher Boxtree for $724,200 according to the Express. The book should be out in May. Read more.

March 13, 2001 - Seventeen recently ran a poll where Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were overtaken as the Hottest Couple by Joey and Pacey from TV's Dawson's Creek.

March 13, 2001 - Britney Spears was on Access Hollywood Monday where they previewed the Janet Jackson MTV Idol special.

March 12, 2001 - Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath was given a serious diss by Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake Tuesday night at Guy's in Los Angeles, according to the New York Post. When McGrath attempted to say hello to the two, a bodyguard stopped McGrath and the two exchanged words. Spies at the club say Britney witnessed the incident but did nothing.

March 11, 2001 - Snoop Dogg is making some eye-raising comments to 360hiphop.com during an online chat where he reveals that he thinks Britney would make a better prostitute than Christina. "She's thicker. She'll make more money. I see her selling real fast." Read more.

March 11, 2001 - A pair of Britney Spears autographed photos are being auctioned on ebay. The first features Britney holding up her dress, item #1120057342, which is unbid at $19.99 and ends March 16th. The other has Britney in a Harley T-shirt, item #1120058410, is bid at $24.99 and ends March 16th.

March 9, 2001 - The Sun reports underaged Britney Spears has revealed she's stopped drinking tequila. She said: "I make a point of not drinking it now as I got sick on it once."

March 9, 2001 - Megastar reports Britney and Justin left a LA nightclub after a blonde tried to seduce Justin. A witness revealed, "Britney told her, 'Beat it, honey. I know what you're trying and it's not working.' But the girl wasn't afraid. She told her she was too young for the bar's 21 age-limit and threatened to phone the cops." Read more.

March 8, 2001 - The New York Post's Liz Smith added credibility to earlier reports that Justin and Britney visited Neverland ranch, only to have Jackson reportedly say to an aide, "Why'd he have to bring her?"

March 7, 2001 - The New York Post reports Liz Rosenberg is denying rumors that Madonna is in Sweden to record a duet with Britney. Liz insists, "Madonna is in L.A. with her husband [Guy Ritchie] and kids. She just finished a video and is planning her tour. I don't even think there is a chance she and Britney will collaborate."

March 7, 2001 - MTVasia.com reports Justin Timberlake was seen partying late into the night with several women at an ultra-hip Hollywood club while Britney was filming her first movie role. Read more.

March 7, 2001 - The Star reports Britney Spears confronted Sting for his earlier talk show remarks where he admitted the only time he is reduced to tears is when he hears Britney singing. The red-faced Sting reportedly couldn't stop apologizing.

March 7, 2001 - The Enquirer quotes Britney Spears in a things stars say and wish they hadn't feature proclaiming, "I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada."

March 6, 2001 - Britney's video 'co-star' Bryce was on Extra Monday to address Britney's mom demanding scenes be cut from her daughter's new video. Bryce says Lynne misses the point, "A lot of cuddling, touching. A lot of just very nice, very gentle."

March 5, 2001 - GroupieCentral.com reported in on Justin at the Grammys saying, "Justin's no fool. He knows that if he was behaving badly at the Grammys, a lot of people would see it and the word would get back to Brit Implants. So Justin was acting like a good boy. We'd venture to guess that if Justin didn't have a girlfriend, he's still be very picky."

March 4, 2001 - HBO will broadcast a Britney Spears concert live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 18, according to Variety.

March 3, 2001 - From Jay Leno's long series of Hannibal jokes as told Friday, "What does Hannibal Lecter call Britney Spears? Dinner at Hooters."

March 3, 2001 - Temptation Island's Mandy Lauderdale revealed that she turned down a Capitol Records recording contract because she feared they'd turn her into another Britney Spears.
