posted on the Digital Island website at 28, 56, and 100 kbps speeds. You
can check them all out here,

29, 2001 - Buddyhead.com reports Britney Spears' management have sent a
cease and desist notice to Jeff Wood of the band Shat, over what they call
"completely offensive cover artwork" for Shat's album "C*** Flavored Lollipops".
Britney's image is used on the album cover with a lollipop showing a female
genetalia. Jeff plans on sending the letter to the website soon and they'll
publish it.
September 29, 2001 - Jay
Leno joked during his monologue on Friday, "Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's
vacation home was broken into. Thieves made off with $5,000 in possessions.
The good news is police caught the thieves, but among the items stolen
-- a home video with 'personal' footage on it. Well, since Britney claims
to be a virgin, it's just two hours of her going, 'No, I said no. No.'"

reports Britney Spears' Pepsi ads have been pulled by the soft drink giant
as the company fears alienating sensitive consumers with the frivolous
spots. Pepsi expects to continue airing the spots sometime in the future
after the somber mood of the United States lifts following the terrorist
attacks in the country September 11.
September 29, 2001 - IMDB
reports Justin Long commenting on his dream job of working with Britney
Spears as he admits, "It was a dream job - it was the best job. I got to
spend four hours with Britney in our underwear - and they paid me for it."
Justin was surprised to get the role adding, "I went in for a lark because
I thought it would be fun to say I auditioned for the Britney Spears movie.
But I really thought I had no chance."
September 28, 2001 - Obviously
there is a good chance this page is a hoax, but someone on a geocities
webpage is claiming to be the ex boyfriend of Britney Spears, Reg Jones.
On his homepage, besides photos of the two, Reg admits how their relationship
turned out saying, "Contrary to rumors, I BROKE UP WITH HER! She did not
dump me. And yes, I'm regretting it. Who wouldn't be? How was I supposed
to know that in just a year she'd be the sexiest, most talented, billion
dollar pop star that she is now? Oh well... life goes on..." Reg even leaves

reports Britney Spears is hurt by charges that she's a bad role model for
young females and the charges that she's had her breasts enlarged. Britney
admits, "That hurts me a lot, because the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC will
grind with a microphone and no one says a word. But I show a little belly

need to have America Online to get the opportunity to purchase tickets
to Britney Spears' upcoming tour in advance as beginning today, each AOL
member can purchase up to 4 tickets for Britney's gigs in Columbus, Ohio

September 27, 2001 - The
Sun has mugshots of four of the suspected burglars at the couple's rented
home in Destin, Florida. There is fear that even though the tape containing
"personal moments" between Britney and Justin was recovered, there may
have been copies made which could be sold to the highest bidder or put

police arrested four teenage boys Saturday night on burglary charges and
grand theft in Destin, Florida, after they broke into a rental home of

MTV Europe Music Awards have been announced where *NSYNC will battle Britney
Spears and Atomic Kitten for Best Pop act. The show that will be held November

an online interview with Getmusic.com earlier this week, Drowning Pool's
vocalist Dave Williams responded to whether he liked Britney Spears or
Christina Aguilera better by saying Britney, but added "I like Mandy Moore

to the New York Post, the Nile Rodgers remake of We Are Family which Britney
Spears and *NSYNC are scheduled to take part in is facing controversy as
Joan Rivers has mounted a boycott of the idea she originally was set to

is reporting that Britney Spear's new video for 'I'm A Slave 4 U' will
have Britney dancing in an Asian bath house, where she'll play the role
of a slave. As her and her dancers sweat to the tune, they become dehydrated
and then search to quench their thirst with water. The site also reports
the video for 'I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman' has also been shot but
details to that video have been kept secret.

to Worldpop, Britney Spears and NSYNC's Justin Timberlake have pulled out
of a Michael Jackson's charity CD in aid of victims of the US terrorist
attacks on September 11. Destiny's Child and Nick Carter of the Backstreet

reports Britney Spears left with an entourage of six from the Sydney Airport
on her way back to the United States, with her flight leaving just after

is reporting Britney Spears' use of a 7 foot albino snake during her performance
on the Video Music Awards left the singer in hives. Britney revealed, "At
rehearsals they kept saying, 'Britney, just get comfortable with the snake,
get to know it,' and I was like, 'I don't want to get to know this snake.'
It was around me and it kept turning its face and looking at me and pointing
its tongue out at me and I got so scared that I broke out in hives everywhere.
In rehearsals I was a wreck, but once I went on stage, I was fine because
I knew I just had to do it."

Sleaze reported today that Britney Spears is still staying in Australia
fearing the thought of having to fly back to the United States following

Sydney Daily Telegraph reports Britney Spears may have jeapordized her

Roger Friedman is reporting a slew of stars, possibly including *NSYNC
and Britney Spears, have signed on or are close to signing on to record
a remake of Nile Rogers penned hit, We Are Family. The plans are a Saturday
recording of the song with one group of stars in New York. Money raised
from the effort will go to World Trade Center victims and their families.

songs he produced for Britney Spears for her new album, Britney. No word

September 13, 2001 - Britney
Spears arrived in Australia Wednesday morning and learned of the tragic
terrorist acts in New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania and has concelled
her planned press conference Thusday to promote her new album Bignet.net.au
says is titled "Britney". A distraught Britney was too upset to talk to
the Australian press upon arriving, going straight to her waiting car and

Star reports Britney Spears was real picky during a recent visit to the

Stern was on this morning with comedian Kathy Griffin talking about Britney
Spears MTV Diary episode making fun of her. Howard was troubled by a clip
where Britney talks about herself in the 3rd person and he thinks she'll
end up like Mariah. Howard also was joking about how Britney talks white
to the camera but talks like a black person to boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
Stern also thought Britney's family was poor white trash and was amazed
how happy her father was just to ride in a NASCAR pace car. As far as her
mother, Howard thinks she's just close to Britney for all the money.

Stephanie McGrath wasn't impressed with Britney's performance at the VMAs
Thursday saying, "Unfortunately for Spears', 'I'm A Slave 4 U' does not
suit her style. The vocals are forced and the Janet Jackson slinkiness
is unnatural. If this is supposed to be Spears' next big hit, the song
that catapults her into the next stage of her career, it misses the target.
The song isn't catchy enough to pelt radio like "Oops" did and isn't grown
up enough to help her take the next step."

September 7, 2001 - The cancelled
duet between Michael Jackson and Britney Spears is back on as a deal has
been worked out where she'll perform but it won't be part of the televised
special. No doubt though the duet will air at some later date outside of
the 30 day blackout.

Spears and The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger were interviewed on the red
carpet of the Video Music Awards where Mick said he's a fan of Britney,
"Of course I am. She did one of our songs didn't she? I have to be a fan."

was on with Howard Stern today and when Aaron Lewis was asked what he thinks

think that they should get the same recognition as real bands because they

band member said it was more of an honor to be on Howard's show than to
be on the VMAs.

York Post reports Britney Spears' VMA performance will include animals
on the stage. Salli Frattini, an executive producer of this year's VMAs
reveals, "There are animals involved. It's a really elaborate staging that

abstracts.net poll asking if you think Britney prefers Coke or Pepsi, 63.1%

Press is reporting 8 high school students have filed suit against Salinas
High School for removing pictures of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera

is reporting that the tabloid reports run by the Sun, the Mirror, and the
