reports Frankie Brittl, 10, of Sun City, California, was in desperately
in need of a lobe transplant in his lung this summer when the Make-A-Wish
Foundation granted his longtime dream to meet Britney Spears. "When I met
her, I really wanted to give her a present, so I gave her a locket," Brittl
said. "After I met her we saw her concert - it was a blast! But the best
part was when she saw me. She came over to the side of the stage where
I was sitting and waved to me. Then I saw that she was wearing the locket
I gave her. I was speechless - I never thought she'd wear it during the
concert. It was the best day of my life." He added, "I know in my heart
that meeting Britney made me feel better and strong enough to have my transplant."

York Post spoke with Britney Spears' lawyer Michael Friedman about how
the singer has washed her hands of Nyla in the face of creditors that are
going after her for unpaid bills from the restaurant. "It's completely
absurd and exploitive," Friedman said. "She clearly doesn't have any personal
responsibility for the restaurant's debts. To drag Britney into this is
completely baseless and a misuse of the judicial process. They're obviously
trying to exploit her celebrity." He added, "She never put any money in
and has never taken any out. She's very disappointed with the way things
were handled, but ultimately she had no choice but to withdraw." Read more.

star Justin Timberlake phoned into MTV's Total Request Live on Tuesday
to premiere his new video 'Cry Me A River'. Carson quizzed Timberlake about
the concept and whether it was about former girlfriend Britney Spears.
Justin says it's about him adding, "I figured hey if you want to speculate
what the song is about I may as well give you something else to talk about."
Carson never asked him about his broken foot and how he's progressing getting

Angeles Times reports Britney Spears has severed all ties to her New York
restaurant, Nyla, saying that it suffers from mismanagement. In a written
statement, Spears says she had no involvement in the day-to-day operations
of the restaurant, which opened in June of last year. Read more.

Tucker, restaurant writer for Time Out New York, the new Nyla is not unlike
the old Nyla--"another bad Midtown New York restaurant that just [happens]
to be owned by Britney Spears." Tucker tells E! Online the restaurant was
D.O.A. from the start. "To me, it didn't seem to be able to decide what

reports Britney Spears is unhappy with the recent actions of *NSYNC star
Justin Timberlake, referencing the 'Horrible Woman' song on '20/20' and
the Details mag interview that called her decision to do 'Crossroads' basically
clueless. A friend of the Spears family says his comments are "a further
source of irritation" and attributed it to the fact that "his album isn't
doing as well as expected and he said everything about Britney's personal
life [to drive sales], he's now attacking her professionally." Timberlake's
rep countered, "We, of course, are relishing in the extraordinary success
of 'Justified'."
November 25, 2002 - The New
York Post reports Britney Spears has decided to turn her watered-down Louisiana
gumbo eatery, Nyla, into an Italian restaraunt. "Britney said she wanted
the best, so we hired Larry Forgione," said Morris Moinian, owner of the
Dylan Hotel which houses Nyla. "The new cuisine will be continental with
an Italian flavor."
November 25, 2002 - The Advocate
reports Britney Spears was on hand at to watch Louisiana State University's
football team just beat Ole Miss 14-13 in Baton Rouge. Spears watched the
game in the press box and was the recipient of frantic waves from several
fans. The singer was on hand in part to watch her cousin and best friend
Laura Lynn Covington.

Adams of the New York Post reports Britney Spears' Pinkey Enterprises,
the LLC behind Nyla, is being sued in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District
of New York, by Dairyland USA Corp., Ocean Clear, Inc., and Sam Tell &
Son Inc. The plaintiff's say Spears' entity is "a defunct entity which
cannot pay its debts." They add the restaurant "undercapitalized with the
intent of avoiding obligations bound to arise as a result of its operations."

reports Britney Spears and U2 frontman Bono recently created handmade pieces
of art in Dublin, Ireland to benefit Icross, an organization that works
to provide home care for AIDS orphans in east Africa. Spears used a tube
of glue and some glitter to make a beach scene on Wednesday (November 20);
while U2's frontman drew a mermaid, perhaps having the video for the band's

Osbourne tells Mary Huhn of the New York Post that none of the songs on
her debut 'Shut Up!' are about love. "The songs might have the word 'boy'
or the word 'crush' in it but none of my songs are about that," she says.
Kelly says love songs are "ridiculous," explaining, "If you're Britney
Spears or some 2-year-old pop singer, oh please, f-- off." But in general,

reports Britney Spears and her pals are "pissed" over *NSYNC star Justin
Timberlake's recent '20/20' appearance. "He was cocky when he said 'Sure,

"He loved her for four years." The night of the interview was especially
painful as "at the time he was exploiting what he had with Britney to sell
albums, she was accepting an award [in Los Angeles] for a children's charity."
As for the Timberlake song 'Horrible Woman' which was implied to be about

in a remarkably candid interview. Miller seemed to have knowledge in every
genre of music, even pop acts like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera,
whom he shared his opinions of. Miller rated Britney a 9 saying, "Looks
great on TV, but I need to see her in person so I can tell what she really
looks like. Seeing Gwen Stefani in person took her from an 8 to a 4. I'm
sure Britney's a solid 9." As for Aguilera, Miller rated her a 2 and blasted,
"Our road manager toured with her and gave us some horror stories. Apparently,

he thought about Britney Spears' movie 'Crossroads'. "I told Britney I
thought she did a good job, but someone over there didn't spend a lot of

she wouldn't have made that movie, don't you think? I mean, everybody knows

finally sheds her clothes to reveal a heartbreakingly skimpy lingerie/G-string
emsemble for a sexed-up version of 'Oops! ... I Did It Again', the whole
teenage girl-next-door thing goes out the window and the news becomes official:

reports Britney Spears sent a $100 bill with a a note attached saying,
"Perhaps I didn't tip you enough" after she went to the Four Seasons health
club in New York which led to a loose-lipped employee telling the New York
Post that her carpet doesn't match her blonde drapes.

Spears late last year formed the Britney Spears Foundation to "raise funds
to benefit various and diverse charitable causes." According to her group's
inaugural tax return--which was just filed and covers the final quarter
of 2001--Spears personally gave her group $500,000, while raising another
$365,654 earmarked for the Twin Towers Fund, a charity benefiting the families

TV cartoon show as an animated character, which will air next summer on

magazine reports Britney Spears recently tried to exit the Beverly Center

lady sighed, "All right, I'll let you slide this time." Britney thanked
her by returning later with $2.

Spears tells MTV News that she's currently working on her fourth album.
"I've been in the studio for a while," Spears revealed at the Neil Bogart
Memorial Fund's annual Bogart Tour for a Cure event on Monday. "I've written
plenty of stuff. It's really cool, really good." As for who specifically
Spears is working with, she's tight-lipped. "I can't tell you, then it

Hayden of Steppin' Out magazine caught up with Beetle Juice, who claims
he has had sex with Britney Spears. The Howard Stern act said of Britney,
"She's got her own songs. She writes her own sh**. I don't have nothing
against her. She thinks for herself and she's got all the TVs and shows.
I banged her." He added, "I banged her before. I had sex with her in '68
or '69." Beetle Juice was born in 1968 and then admitted to his lie, "She's
a virgin. I could have banged her in '68." Of course Britney didn't even

York Post previewed *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake's hour-long interview
tonight with Barbara Walters on 20/20, where he performs the song 'Horrible
Woman' - apparently targetting ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. In the song,
Justin sings, "So, you had your chance to be my lover. I guess you needed
something more undercover. And you know that ain't cool. So let's skip
the drama, call your momma and tell her she better just come get you 'cause

to hold the restaurant in contempt of court.

writers are debating the longevity of Britney Spears to Rachel Leibrock
of Scripps-McClatchy Western Service. Entertainment Weekly music writer
David Browne commented, "Now that the teen-pop boom has peaked, Britney

to now is different. They want something that's harder. They want a rocker-chick
type like Avril Lavigne or Pink - however calculated their images might

him dance all his life, but we'd never seen him dance like that." As for
his much publicized breakup with Britney Spears, Bobbye says everyone is

on '60 Minutes' over objections from veteran newsman Mike Wallace. In response
to his promise to quit if the pop singer appeared during a recent NPR interview,
an insider said, "Mike knows that '60 Minutes' is his last hurrah and it
burns him that younger viewers don't get what it's all about and are tuning
out. Britney Spears represents vapid youth in Mike's mind and he hates

Online spoke with Britney Spears' 'Crossroads' co-star Anson Mount who
admits the role opened some doors for him in the acting world. "Professionally,
I like to say I'm getting turned down by much bigger people now," he chuckles.
"Yeah, I guess it's helped my visibility. It's hard to say. My life is
pretty much exactly the same as before I made 'Crossroads'." As for whether

reports Jenna Jameson's lawyer Gary Crandell is taking legal action to
halt a promotional scheme that suggests Jenna had a lesbian relationship
with Britney Spears. Crandell sent a cease and desist letter to Wendy Walls
of MyFindIt.com, asking her to cease to "to publish false and injurious
statements of and concerning Jenna Jameson and Brittany Spears (sic)."

Shania Twain thinks Britney Spears has been given a rough ride by the media.
"Britney's a really sweet kid but things can get rough in this business.
Sometimes it can be really hard," Twain said. "I was lucky. It didn't happen
to me until I was an adult. I was in my twenties when I got my first record
deal and almost 30 when things went really wild. I knew right from the
start that I didn't want to be part of the circus that goes with this business.

star Justin Timberlake tells Jane magazine that he's handy with his putter.
"Golf is a sex game," he said. "The goal is to get the ball in the hole."
Justin also admits to being a butt man. "I like the way the small of a

about going down on former galpal Britney Spears to Hot 97: "In no way
did I intend to hurt her," by kiss-and-telling on the radio.

reports Britney Spears restaurant Nyla is about to shut down after only
four months in business, according to sources. "Nyla is days away from
closing. There has been just one problem after another," said a source.
"Britney didn’t put a penny into the restaurant, she just lent her name
to it. Having said that, her image is very important. Her pride will be
a little dented."

caught up with Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of the Neptunes and asked
