This is a question that many people would love to be answered, but unfortunately, those who "worship, adore and respect" Ms. Spears couldn't possibly deliver an answer that is satisfying, because when it all comes down to what's real - Britney is not worthy of being worshipped, adored, admired or respected. In the past she wanted to prove to the world that she's a grown up Britney, but now she seems to want to make herself look like some victim that's being controlled by everybody and everything. I love Britney and all, I think she's down to earth and very cool, but she needs to wise up and take a break! If she's so tired by the media, and so tired of working hard and taking the effort to get her butt on stage and actually dance and sing, then why won't she take a break!" Read more.

It was Britney Spears & her new husband, Kevin Federline. I immediatly began crying hysterically. The woman I idolized was right in front of me! I tapped her shoulder and she turned around and giggled. She said, 'Hi what's up?,' I couldn't say anything right but I managed to say, 'Britney you don't know how inspiring you are. My prerogative right now is to just chill & let all of the other overexposed blondes on the cover of Us Weekly be your entertainment... GOOD LUCK GIRLS! I'm sorry that my life seemed like it was all over the place the past 2 years, it's probably because IT WAS! I understand now what they mean when they talk about child stars. As you know, Britney gets stalked a lot by paparazzi everyday. But whose fault is that? I mean think about it, esp. you Britney fans. Now, if I were a fan of somebody that I really loved, I wouldn’t want to admit their flaws either. "Then I realized I'd be afraid to touch them. Literally, genuinely scared of handling an article of clothing that had been in contact with Britney's own Louisiana bayou. Somehow, that poor girl made her way OUT of moonshine-brewin', trailer livin' Louisiana all the way to Mickey Mouseketeer Land -- the epitome of wholesome smiles and rainbows and puppies and eternal virginity. And now, she is choosing to make the slow pilgrimage back from whence she came. And oh, what an entertaining voyage it is, at least for those of use standin' on the other side of the tracks, watching the slow and painful and glorious trainwreck that is Downward Spiral Britney." I will also include a copy of the staff pass I was given to enter the house that night, as proof that this item is genuine and that I was there that night." Beam writes, "So what are the digs like? Designed by Britney's mother, Lynne, they purport to resemble part of the family homestead in Kentwood, La. The decor looks like someone's design scheme for a high-end New Orleans brothel, which is not to suggest that either Ms. Spears or I have first-hand knowledge of that environment." Read more.

October 11, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Once again, Britney Spears manages to thwart Christina's plan to steal Britney's crown as the ultimate Pop princess. When Britney Spears' career is looking great, Christina's on the other hand is going straight to hell, yet Christina fans insist that she will be here in 10 years time as opposed to Britney. Well obviously these Christina fans need to take a hint, her latest single 'Carwash' was an instant bona fide flop, and her summer tour was a disaster, with dismal ticket sales of a pathetic 40%." October 11, 2004 - Anonymous writes "I am writing in response to everyone giving Britney Spears such a hard time. Who cares what she does, how bout we all leave her alone. In a new magazine article (in OK) she said she realizes she owes her fans more then she has been able to give and she is taking over her mom's job with her official website so she can give back to the fans. People should be like that’s great...not Britney needs to do this and that. She does what she wants. She "doesn’t need to permission" and she definitely "makes her own decisions" and that's her prerogative and we should respect that instead of being well Britney is this and Britney shouldn't do this. I am so sick of it. If you don't like what she does, then just stop paying attention to her." Read more.

October 11, 2004 - Anonymous writes "I know this has probably been written thousands of times, but oh well, here I go. I am starting to get irritated about you naive Britney Spears fans. You guys seem to always want to act so ignorant towards Christina Aguilera in some essays when the essay isn't even about Christina! Why do you guys always have to bring her down to make your point? And it's even more irritating that some of you write essays about how you don't like bias and hypocritical Christina fans when you guys do the exact same thing!" Read more.

October 4, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Britney Spears is a hypocrite? Britney is a slut? Trash? Fat? Over? These questions would not sound so bizarre if they were not coming from raving Christina Aguilera fans. Let us have a little recap of the "Dirrty" one's image resume. Christina swapped all of her clothes for a faux ghetto accent, suddenly developed gargantuan-sized breasts, gained approximately 15 pounds, and sucks face with every female soft-core porn star in Hollywood. How does she not fit those crass accusations placed on Ms. Spears?" Read more.

October 4, 2004 - In an interview with The Sun, Christina Aguilera is commenting on Britney Spears' recent marriage to Kevin Federline, her second of the year. "I think everybody tries to jump on the bandwagon of marriage," Aguilera said. "If it's right for them, then it's right for them. But I'm not going to do it like that. I'm very focused on my career at the moment. I'm happy and feel the best I've ever felt. I don't know if Britney got married to get attention because I don't know her any more. I don't know the man she married and I don't know her." Through gritted teeth she added: "I wish them luck." Read more.

October 4, 2004 - Candace Murphy of the Oakland Tribune weighed in on Britney Spears and the singer's constant appearance in the tabloid headlines -- a move Murphy suspects is part of Spears' master plan. "Why would Britney heed any advice, anyway? It's all part of her master plan," Murphy explained. "As great as the temptation is to shake your head and 'tsk, tsk, tsk' Britney's shenanigans -- 'Oh dear, she's drinking too much for a proper young lady, she's kissing more girls than is proper for a young lady, she's getting married too often for a proper young lady' -- she knows exactly what she's doing. Britney is worth $32 million, and her future ventures (clothing, jewelry, shoes, even HOUSEWARES... possibly explaining her need to be a housewife) are estimated to earn her another $28 million. Each click of the shutter keeps her on the pages of all those magazines, keeps everyone interested and keeps the money rolling in. She brought it on herself because she wanted to." Read more.

And that's really saying something because it is very unlike Britney to be able to keep a secret. My first reaction was shock and then lingering thoughts of 'what about her dress?' 'what about the other plans?' and so on. Then I started thinking about how Jamie Lynn was getting her hair done and would be late to the ceremony! It's quite a distance from the hair salon to the wedding site and we were all getting antsy, but then Jamie Lynn arrived and we hurried to get her ready. There were happy tears and 'congratulations' all at the same time. I must say, even with all the unexpected- it was a very beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony." Check out the entire message here.

October 4, 2004 - Britney Spears lashed out at those who accuse her husband Kevin Federline of being a gold-digger.
