December 27, 2004 - Us Weekly reports that when Britney Spears ended up collapsing in Las Vegas, witnesses said that while the singer had been drinking, she didn't seem drunk. "It was worse than that, and [husband Kevin Federline] was in the same wasted state," one said. Federline let Britney's bodyguards handle the situation. "His attitude was like, 'You guys deal with this,'" a source revealed. The next night at the Billboard Music Awards, a source said "Britney looked really haggard." He told Serrano while pointing to a stool, "A very pretty blonde dropped by and left you this." On the bar stool was a life-size Chihuahua stuffed animal, a joking reference to Britney Spears' dog Bit-Bit, who Serrano had reportedly cooked a $170 steak for while Spears was in town for the Billboard Music Awards. December 27, 2004 - The Canadian Press profiled how young celebrities of today are building brands around their faces and attitude, including Britney Spears. Becky Brown, from The Magazine Not For Adults, a Canadian glossy geared at teenagers, commented how Spears has had troubles since her film 'Crossroads'. "It's almost sad," said Brown.
