"She asked for the key inside, but then couldn't open the door," a witness said. "When she finally opened it, she stayed inside about 10 seconds, then hurried back out. Looks like it was too gross!"

January 31, 2005 - Bulgarian-born street healer Nicky Peevski spoke with The People after he helped Britney Spears relax during a recent visit through Malibu, California. "Britney asked what I was doing and I explained I could cure headaches, arthritis and other problems using the healing energy of my hands," Peevski said. "I told her to sit on a wall and close her eyes. I moved my hands around her head and body, putting energy into her. After 10 minutes I told her to open her eyes. Britney said she felt great and would come again."

January 31, 2005 - The March issue of Autograph Collector magazine claims Britney Spears is the worst celebrity when it comes to signing autographs, topping the publication's 13th annual top 10 "Worst Signers" list. The magazine's publisher Steve Cyrkin told People magazine that no one is better than Spears at "showing their fans how little they mean to them." January 31, 2005 - The Las Vegas Review Journal reports Britney Spears was spotted surprising hubby Kevin Federline when he showed up at Cirque du Soleil's "O" on Sunday night. The Federlines ended up in a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel. Williams writes, "As we all know, Britney Spears is a pop culture icon for music. I personally don’t know why, because 1. She can’t sing and 2. There is no music when it comes to her music. January 3, 2005 - Friends of Kevin Federline tell In Touch that wife Britney Spears seems to be grooming the dancer into the image of her superstar ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. "I hope she's not doing it just because she wants another Justin," Kevin's pal confided. The friend added, "I just hope she loves Kevin for who he is, not for what she tinks she can make him into."

January 3, 2005 - Norm Clarke of The Las Vegas Review Journal listed "What happened in Vegas that didn't stay in Vegas in '04", with Britney Spears' January 3rd wedding to Jason Alexander topping the list. Britney's return in December with her supposed steak-eating Chihuahua Bit-Bit and her woozy exit from Nobu at the Hard Rock Hotel got her on the list again at #7. Read more.

January 3, 2005 - According to The New York Post, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's marriage was a big seller for the weekly celeb magazines in 2004, while interest in issues featuring Britney Spears seemed to draw fewer buyers. It's believed that In Touch weekly's bestseller for the year was a November 29th Jessica Simpson cover titled "It's Over", while Us Weekly's worst-selling issue of the year was "Britney Out of Control" back on January 19th.
