"A couple of years ago, FHM readers couldn't get enough of Britney, and they unanimously agreed that she was by far the sexiest woman on the planet," FHM editor Ross Brown explained. April 16, 2006 - Chaunce Hayden of Steppin' Out magazine caught up with Brooke Hogan in a Q&A and asked the budding singer who's musical footsteps she'd like to follow in. "I know people will really frown upon this, but I have to say Britney Spears is one of the biggest people I look up to," Hogan responded. "She's an amazing performer! Her music is just amazing! She's sold millions of copies of her music and I just love her." Asked if she felt Britney has self-destructed her own career, Hogan countered, "You know what? And you should print this. Anybody who thinks Britney Spears is going to just fade away and die doesn't know Britney Spears. I guarantee you that that girl can lose 45 pounds in a month and come back stronger than ever. "As a source in TAO's management explained to me, any time any photographer -- or just a clubgoer who had a camera -- got even 15 feet near them on either Tuesday or Wednesday night, one of their eight security guards was shining a flashlight in their faces, so anybody taking pix just gets the bright flashlight beams in their photo," Leach writes. "Kevin was wearing his ring even though Brit wasn't," a witness said. "They were being affectionate with each other. She sat on his lap for awhile. He fed her a bite of an appetizer." Later, the couple went to Pure, snuggling on the club's VIP bed. "They didn't leave each other's side all night," another clubgoer said. Instead of returning to their Malibu house, "they headed over to the Hotel Bel Air," a source told the tabloid. "But if Kevin can't give up his partying, Britney will have to do the same thing Denise did and kick Kevin to the curb," the source said. April 9, 2006 - Three of Britney Spears' former bodyguards have sued Britney Brands, Inc. and Britney Touring, Inc., claiming they worked long hours and never received overtime pay. The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims the guards worked between 12 and 16 hours a day and were often on call 24 hours a day, but never got anything but a straight salary.
