June 25, 2006 - Star magazine reports that Kevin Federline is hunting for another woman with deep pockets as he realizes his marriage to Britney Spears is on its last legs. "I need to find me another rich bitch," Kevin told an insider, who said, "The way he was talking, he wasn't joking. Kevin's totally obsessed with making a record and having a music career, and Brit's been paying for all that."

June 25, 2006 - The New York Post reports that after hearing her 'Dateline NBC' interview with Matt Lauer wasn't warmly received by the public - especially her attire and makeup, Britney Spears had a photographer take pictures of her with professional hair, makeup and wardrobe. The singer called the celebrity weeklies she had trashed during 'Dateline' to attempt to sell the photos and an "exclusive" interview for $200,000. After nobody bit, OK! magazine finally bought the shots and the interview for only $5,000. A rep for the magazine declined comment but did say, "Who doesn't love a discount?"

June 25, 2006 - Fametastic reports Kevin Federline demanded his wife Britney Spears get rid of her "manny" Perry Taylor. "Kevin didn't like seeing Perry holding his son while out with Britney," a source revealed. "Kevin was uncomfortable with Taylor being so close to Britney and his son. "This is a lot better than the first one," she says of her current pregnancy. And the singer revealed that she'd like to have three "boo boos" in total, a reference to mishaps involving her baby son Sean Preston. Britney also dismissed the notion that K-Fed isn't happy about their growing brood. At first, "he was a little shocked," she admits, but shares that she and Kevin are now thoroughly excited about the welcome addition.

June 25, 2006 - The New York Post reports that when Matt Lauer interviewed Britney Spears for 'Dateline NBC', staffers for the show were shocked the singer didn't have either of her publicists, Leslie Sloane Zelnick or Nanci Ryder, at her Malibu mansion. Spears also insisted on doing her own hair and makeup. "When [the NBC crew] got there, they thought they had the wrong day... During the interview, no one was there to rein things in," a source said. June 25, 2006 - Namibia's Deputy Environment and Tourism Minister Leon Jooste tells The Associated Press he made his original public statement about Britney Spears wanting to have her second child in the African country after receiving a phone call from the United States on Monday. "Somebody told me that she (Spears) is interested in coming to Namibia and that they would contact me in the next two weeks," he said Saturday. A source revealed Britney took Kevin aside and told the aspiring rapper, "Listen baby. I love you so much and I am here to support you. Plus, thank you so much for taking the attention away from me and putting yourself in front of the cameras!" Britney might not be too happy to hear why Five Star Vintage chose K-Fed though. "He embodies what Five Star Vintage clothing is," a company spokesman explained. "We want someone who is willing to spend $300 on a pair of shoes. June 25, 2006 - The Daily Mail spoke with Annette Brileya, senior research midwife at King's College University, for her thoughts on Britney Spears hitting the beach a couple times this week on both coasts. "Pregnant women have a higher body temperature, so we recommend that they avoid the sun rather than go looking for it," Brileya said. "There's also evidence that UV rays can break down folic acid in the body which is needed in the early stages of pregnancy. Exposure to the sun also makes her at risk of developing the condition cholasma, which occurs in the form of darkened spots on the face and body." Read more.

June 25, 2006 - Britney Spears' claim on 'Dateline NBC' that she cleans her 9,130-square-foot, eight-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion in Malibu prompted skepticism from celebrity housekeeper Donnalyn O'Connor. "It would take about three to four days to take care of all those bathrooms, the laundry, the kitchen, the bedroom," O'Connor tells Star magazine. "Even if I worked for 15 hours straight, I would not be able to get a house of that size cleaned and disinfected properly. It would take a lot of time, especially with a baby to clean up after. She definitely needs a housekeeper, I've never heard of a person of with a house that big that does not at least have a staff of three housekeepers to help."

"She feels she has wasted time, money and precious gifts on Brit."

June 13, 2006 - Britney Spears' "manny" has been identified as Perry Taylor, a 1996 graduate of the Hill School, a posh Pennsylvania prep school. Taylor is a one-time lacrosse player who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2000. June 13, 2006 - Us Weekly reports that Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are in an "in-between stage" of their marriage, according to a source, where the couple are trying to be civil to each other despite not getting along and despite K-Fed being banished to the basement of their Malibu home. June 13, 2006 - In Touch magazine reports that Britney Spears' hubby Kevin Federline is not happy with the singer's "manny", who has been serving as her bodyguard and now "man of the house". An insider said that K-Fed "doesn't like that this guy is taking care of his baby. He feels like Britney is throwing it in his face." "We're hearing that Britney is very emotional, and she's crying all the time," Szish said. "Our sources tell us she will file for divorce eventually." Pressuring Spears is her family, who Szich said "hired a Christian life coach to help make that decision."

June 2, 2006 - The Associated Press reports many moms are rushing to the defense of Britney Spears after the singer has been repeatedly scrutinized for her mothering skills. "The woman just can't get a break!" says Lenna Janick, a mother of two in Ijamsville, Maryland. "I mean, I'm not gonna say that I love her. I don't know if she's a good mother or not. But she's human." Janet Chan, editor in chief of Parenting magazine, said support for Britney began after her latest close call, when she tripped and almost dropped her baby son in New York City. "I think this last incident is the tipping point," Chen said. "I'm not sure this means Britney Spears will be in every mom's Hall of Fame.
