October 20, 2006 - A source close to Britney Spears tells TMZ that the singer has enlisted a small army of nannies, trainers, and nutritionists to put her through her paces to make sure she's looking her best to host hubby Kevin Federline's 'Playing With Fire' album release party on October 31st. The source revealed Spears is constantly in the gym "for hours at a time", working off the weight she gained after having two babies in 13 months. Read more.

October 20, 2006 - In Touch magazine reports Kevin Federline is said to be surprisingly insecure and secretly terrified that Britney Spears will dump him if her career takes off again. K-Fed has insisted that for a new music video, Britney had to fire Matt Felkerand and all of the other male dancers she'd hired and replace them with females. Britney talked about being a "single mom" while K-Fed parties in Vegas and plans to rap on her new album, while Kevin discussed his debut album. October 20, 2006 - Donald Trump sounded off to CNN's 'Larry King Live' about Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, and how he's changed his tune on K-Fed since the rap upstart called The Donald his hero. "I was really attacking him because I have a radio show that's a very successful show," he explained of his K-Fed barbs. "You know it's like a Paul Harvey 60-second deal, the Clear Channel. They're great. They set it up in my office and I do it. And, I was attacking him and then somebody said, because, you know, I didn't, he was right for her in all fairness. Hey, look what happened to her, she's a mess. So, what happens now is I heard the other day that his all-time hero is Donald Trump. So, now what I said, 'I think he's a great guy. He's fantastic.' October 12, 2006 - With Britney Spears reportedly contributing her voice to a duet on husband Kevin Federline's debut album called 'Crazy', sources tell TMZ that doing the duet could seriously hurt her own career prospects - just like it did for Whitney Houston when she teamed up with Bobby Brown in 1993 on 'Something in Common'. "Not that [Britney] was churning out hits," one recording-industry vet remarked, "but it's very reminiscent of what happened to Whitney after the baby and 'Something in Common'." Read more.

"Britney worked with two designers to make the nursery state of the art," a friend revealed. "She told the decorators to spare no expense. She's indulging herself and her new son. This is definitely the most joyous time of her life."

October 12, 2006 - The Mirror reports Britney Spears lashed out at hubby Kevin Federline after the rapper returned home from a weekend of partying with pals in Las Vegas. The budding rapper had picked up a pair of diamond earrings before facing Britney and their two children, but it didn't work. "Kevin thought the earrings would make up for the fact that he left Britney with the kids all weekend while he partied it up in Vegas," a friend revealed. "But she was livid that he even considered going in the first place, so when he handed over the present she got so furious she stormed off. They are now barely speaking. October 12, 2006 - Paparazzi should take notice after Britney Spears' interview with Q magazine, where a discussion about the wearing of uniforms suddenly turned into the singer describing a fantasy revenge music video. "I think police officer's uniforms are sexy," she said. "I don't know, you can use your imagination. I think it's fun. Maybe in my next video I'll be a police officer. And I could be shooting all the paparazzi! That's a great idea. I love it."
