The tipster added that Spears was wearing "a red tank minidress, no bra, and huge platform shoes" and had "nappy hair extensions." Spears asked the informant, "What should we do in New York? February 24, 2007 - Insiders tell In Touch that Britney Spears has been living a secret life of wild sex long before her marriage to Kevin Federline ended, and that K-Fed plans to use stories of her sexploits during their ongoing custody battle for their two young boys. An insider who knows the couple well says that over the course of a night, Britney would often disappear into a bedroom with her girlfriends. "Sometimes it was three girls, and sometimes there were more like six," the insider claimed. "I heard about her being with girls at least 20 times while they were married."

"I learned that her hair was so badly damaged from repeated cheap-peroxide bleachings that it had broken off and thinned to the point where bald-spots had begun to appear," Leach writes. Hinckley writes, "She needs a timeout and she wants it now, which in turn raises the real question: How did this $100 million star, this wholesome PG model for preteen girls, get from there to here? The short answer is that, like many of her fellow pop stars, Britney ended up patterning her career after a 6-year-old's birthday party. To be fair, you can see the appeal. February 24, 2007 - A source from Esther's Haircutting Studio in Tarzana confirmed to 'Access Hollywood' that they are planning to sell the hair Britney Spears shaved from her head on eBay. They will donate a portion of the hair collected from the crop to the Britney Spears Foundation, which was the salon's own idea. Read more. Meanwhile, the hair appears to be offered up for sale now for a likely unrealistic price of $1 million, with no mention of any proceeds going to any charity. In the latest report - the latest report is that Britney Spears checked into rehab and then checked out less than 24 hours later. She's cured! It's a miracle. ... It's jiffy rehab. I think it's the same place Ted Haggard went to cure his gayness. Remember that? 'Become un-gay in about an hour. Come on down to jiffy rehab.' Imagine that, in and out of rehab in less than 24 hours. Hey, people sit on JetBlue airplanes for longer than that. ... I tell you. I'm glad she caught it early, before she did anything embarrassing. ... Anyway, now someone from 'Access Hollywood' - I was talking to them. They're down the hall. I asked them about this. 'Access Hollywood' said it's not true. They said she's not in rehab. February 24, 2007 - In wake of Britney Spears shaving her head last night, some "fan" sites for the singer have been posting irresponsible and unsourced gossip suggesting the singer was victim of a crime, visited the hospital, and quoted her manager Larry Rudolph. It's safe to say that none of this information is true. If Rudolph were to make a statement, he would issue a press release (none has been issued as of yet) or would have spoken to a legitimate news outlet. If Britney had even left her home after returning at 9 PM last night, the paparazzi, many of whom are likely camped outside her home, would have swarmed, especially if she visited a hospital.

February 24, 2007 - Harvey Levin, managing editor of TMZ.com, tells ABC News that Britney Spears' family, concerned about her excessive partying and drinking, staged an intervention and made her go to rehab at Eric Clapton's Crossroads facility in Antigua. "Her family and friends staged what I guess you would call an intervention and basically said you have to go," Levin said. "Britney came in and said she wanted them to shave her head," a source at the salon revealed. After the hairdresser refused, "Britney grabbed the hair clipper and started doing it herself." Emily Wynne-Hughes of Body & Soul Tattoo in Sherman Oaks then had to deal with the newly bald Britney and asked her why she shaved her head. "I don't want anyone touching me," Spears replied.
