Wednesday night's performance of Royal Jelly, the new 'rock 'n roll' burlesque show at Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce, was to be the first public performance for Ms. Spears following her troubles of late. Plans to sing three songs with four backup dancers during intermission of the sexy Forty Deuce show were postponed at the last minute because 'her management decided it wasn't the right time.' Owner Ivan Kane said 'she came on stage during rehearsal, looking very hot, with four backup dancers and sang three songs. They ran through the set several times, the choreography was smokin' and she sounded great. The backup dancers were beautiful as well, as a matter of fact, two of them perform at my club every week.' May 7, 2007 - The New York Post hears Britney Spears fired her recently re-hired manager Larry Rudolph on Friday. The singer had blamed Rudolph for recent missteps, including introducing her to Paris Hilton. It may be a costly move for Spears, who signed a multi-year deal with Rudolph after announcing her divorce with Kevin Federline last year. Britney is now being handled by Leslie Sloane Zelnik, another rehire for the troubled pop tart.

May 7, 2007 - Roger Friedman of FoxNews.com reports Britney Spears gave away $590,000 to charity in 2005, including $350,000 to relief programs related to Hurricane Katrina. Spears donated $175,000 alone to Habitat for Humanity. In addition, the singer forked over $30,000 to Spirituality for Kids, a division of the Kabbalah Centre. Read more.
