December 29, 2000 - Charlotte Church is commenting on Britney and her looks as Entertaindom.com reports the 14-year-old classical singer as saying, "I hate my knees, they are really chubby knees. I've got thick ankles too. I'd like smaller thighs, a smaller butt and bigger lips. But I just have to make the best of what I've been given. I'd like to nick Britney Spears' belly, though."

December 29, 2000 - Thanks Sky. From People magazine, "Britney Spear's romance with *NSYNC's Justin Timberlake is in full bloom. To celebrate her 19th birthday in early December, Timberlake had 26 dozen roses adorn a $2,400-a-night hotel suite at the La Quinta Resort & Club near Palm Springs, with petals from another 10 dozen roses scattered around the room."

December 29, 2000 - Britney Spears is featured in a pair of autographed photos being auctioned on ebay. The first photo features Britney in black (item #1401200049), which is unbid at $5 and ends January 3rd. The other features her bathing in diamonds (item #532961009), which is unbid at $24.99 and ends January 6th.

December 28, 2000 - Britney Spears was deemed an honorable mention in The second annual Salon.com Readers' Choice Awards in the category, "The celebrity you deem most likely to suffer an Anne Heche-like meltdown." They said of Britney, "In a Krispy Kreme in Biloxi, Miss., when she catches Justin Timberlake in a compromising position with the Olsen twins." Another mention in the "The celebrity you most suspect of being an armpit burrower" category saying she'd be "Looking for courage, a heart and a brain."

December 27, 2000 - Sky.com reports bookies in the UK are offering 25 to 1 odds that Britney Spears will be giving birth by next year. A Britney spokesman at Jive said it was 'highly unlikely' and called it a publicity stunt on the bookies' part.

December 27, 2000 - Ben Affleck talks about rumors of who he's dating with Entertaindom.com admitting, "I've been linked with Britney (Spears) and now Carrie [Fisher, Princess Leia of Star Wars] -- I can't tell if I've got a Lolita complex or an Oedipus complex."

December 27, 2000 - A psychic named Morris Fonte was on TRL today talking about predictions for the new year. He says that Britney would be appearing in Playboy and that Justin and Britney would get married, having a huge wedding and would have at least three children.

December 25, 2000 - Rav Singh of News of the World reports Britney Spears bought boyfriend Justin Timberlake a $30,000 diamond encrusted Patek Philippe watch for Christmas. Engraved on the watch, "To my Justin, love you always, Britney." Britney told friends, "I love him so much and I really wanted to buy him something special that would remind him of me every day. So the perfect present had to be a watch because he’d wear it all the time."

December 24, 2000 - Channel 5 news in Memphis is reporting that Britney and Justin were seen at McDonalds and Wal-Mart in Bertlett. The couple reportedly plans to head to Britney's house on Christmas Eve until the 30th, where they then will fly to New York to help MTV ring in 2001.

December 24, 2000 - Yahoo! Internet Life magazine named Britney Spears the most searched for celebrity. The same type of recognition was given this week by Lycos 50, where she was named the number one overall search term of 2000.

December 23, 2000 - Justenough on our message boards posted the article in January's Cosmo that alledges Britney Spears is using Justin to cover her trail to her true love, Adam.

December 23, 2000 - EW.com reports Christina Aguilera is Grammy winning music producer David Foster's choice to perform the official anthem he's been commissioned to create for Salt Lake City's 2002 Winter Olympics. When asked why he didn't select Britney Spears, Foster said Spears is a star, but not "a great singer.... If I know anything at all, it's whether someone can sing, and Christina can really blow people away."

December 23, 2000 - A seven year old Britney Spears fan placed 9th in judging of Popbitch.com's Thickbitch 2000 awards, which highlights dumbness. The fan from Tasmania, Australia, pulled out all of his teeth with pliers so the tooth fairy would leave him enough money to buy Britney's CD.

December 22, 2000 - People.com's Fifth Annual Most Beautiful People Poll ended with a close race between boyfriend and girlfriend Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears, with Justin nosing Britney out in the end.

December 22, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca lists Britney & Justin at #6 on his George W. Shrub Awards saying, "It appears nothing can stop this bosomy diva-in-training and her bushy-haired boy-toy. So what if moxie music types say Christina Aguilera has more It than her tube-topped counterpart--who's getting more airplay? Clearly, C.A. has a career beyond satisfying teens who stampede stadiums. Do Brit and Just? Well, they'll always have each other. I hear marriage is in the cuties' cards."

December 22, 2000 - MTVasia.com reports Justin Timberlake treated Britney Spears to an all-over body massage at a health spa for her 19th birthday. Mother Lynn adds, "While in Los Angeles, Brit had a small celebration with some of her friends from the tour."

December 22, 2000 - Lynne Spears had an update to 'Lynne's Corner' on the 18th, where she talks about her trip to visit Britney in England and tells everyone that Britney needs a long break after getting very tired on the road touring.

December 22, 2000 - The Sun reports Britney Spears mother admits her daughter wants a pretty English scene painting for the walls of her new home in Louisiana.

December 21, 2000 - The Orlando Sentinel reported on the Wright Entertainment Group Christmas party that included Johnny Wright managed stars like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, who arrived holding hands to the event. Around 250 guests attended the party Monday night which was held at a Kissimmee skating center. Lance and Joey also attended, with JC coming in later with Bobbee, while Chris was reportedly out of town.

December 20, 2000 - Ananova reports German magazine Yam apologized to readers for publishing web addresses to porn sites with fake images of Britney Spears giving oral sex to two men. The magazine intended to link only to fake nudes, nothing hardcore.

December 20, 2000 - The Sun reports Britney Spears spent over $100,000 in minutes on a shopping spree that needed a Toyota Land Cruiser for her mother Lynne and another 4x4 for her aunt during a shopping trip in Hollywood.

December 20, 2000 - The new Teen People has quotes from Justin and Britney on their relationship. Britney confides, "Justin is everything, and what more could you want in a person? He's funny. He's cute. He's great. He just understands. I get him and he gets me, and that's cool" Justin says of his girl, "If you really love somebody, nothing can get in the way. 'Look, I love you, you love me, that's it.' Problems are going to come and go... She and I compliment each other. She breathes fresh air into me; she's like a reality check. She's absoutely wonderful, an absolutely beautiful person, inside and out. When [negative] things are said about her, I take offense to them even more than she does."

December 19, 2000 - Additional details on the report that Britney was crying at the Jingle Ball in New York. On today's Rush & Malloy show on eYada.com, the pair reported that Britney was upset because she feels she has no control of her life. December 17, 2000 - The New York Daily News reports an insider revealed to them Britney and manager Johnny Wright had an argument at Thursday's Z-100 "Jingle Ball" at Madison Square Garden which ended with Britney crying and refusing to go onstage a second time. Britney's spokesman said the story was untrue and Wright himself said, "In the two years I've been involved with Britney, we have never once had an argument."

December 17, 2000 - Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake will be amongst those on MTV's New Year's Eve party at Roseland. The party is being set up by *NSYNC's Lance Bass, with tickets costing $200. Is it possible that a Justin and Britney New Year's midnight kiss will be included in the broadcast?

December 16, 2000 - ET questioned Britney at the Jingle Ball about Madonna wearing a Britney T-shirt at her performance in New York.

December 16, 2000 - MTVasia reports Christina Aguilera is upset seeing magazine articles about her competition between Britney Spears saying, "It is sad to pit two young girls against each other over and over. I just broke down and started crying one night about that article because of how mean it was, just to talk about, 'Oh, Britney's Madonna without the brain.' That is so mean and it's like, shut up, already!"

December 15, 2000 - The New York Post reports Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera walked past each other several times at the Billboard Music Award after-party at V Bar in Las Vegas, but the two stars barely acknowledged each other, according to a spy.

December 15, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports Justin's mother has confessed to on of his son's friends she hopes Justin and Britney will get married.

December 15, 2000 - Snoop when asked who he thought was better, Christina or Britney, replied to BET, "Christina Aguilera’s got a pretty voice. I like her voice. No disrespect to Britney Spears; she got a nice voice too, but I think Christina Aguilera could do more soul with her voice. She could probably sound better on hip-hop track than that pop."

December 13, 2000 - Fred Durst was on TRL today commenting on Britney, where he called her "the next Madonna."

December 13, 2000 - Britney Spears is #18 in Playboy's list of The Sex Stars of 2000.

December 13, 2000 - The Smoking Gun has landed Britney Spears demands to play in venues on her 2000 World Tour, including food items such as red Altoids, Doritos, and Wow! potato chips. Read more.

December 13, 2000 - MTVasia is reporting more details on Britney's posing on the cover of The Church Of England Newspaper, where they cite her as an example of teenage virtue. Britney is hailed by top churchmen of being "a saint" for remaining a virgin, calling her "a great ambassador for virginity."

December 12, 2000 - The Star reports while Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake snuck out a side entrace at LA's Las Palmas, the real reason was not teeny boppers lined outside the joint, but cops checking out the disturbance that may have questioned why the two underaged stars were in a bar in the first place. Luckily Justin spotted the cops while walking out the front and made alternate exit plans.

December 11, 2000 - The New York Daily News reports Britney Spears rep is revealing that Britney was told when she walked in to the Las Vegas restaurant that her meal was comped, including tip, and since then her waitress has since received a gratuity.

December 10, 2000 - In a CDNow article, amongst Christina Aguilera's favorite artists for 2000, at #9 is Britney Spears. Her top pick was Mariah Carey.

December 10, 2000 - Britney Spears was shown posing for photographers in the press room holding her Albums Artist of the Year award she won at the 2000 Billboard Music Awards on December 5th in Las Vegas.

December 10, 2000 - Britney Spears was mentioned by Ozzy Osbourne in MTV Cribs. Ozzy joked that her daughter was a big fan but she countered that he was too. Ozzy said, "She has nice boobies" to which the daughter replied, "Because they're fake!"

December 8, 2000 - Worldpop reports Britney Spears was hecked by Christina Aguilera fans when she got out of her limo for the Billboard Music Awards. A particular fan shouted, "Britney can't even lip sync on key ... and when she doesn't lip sync she sucks." Later other fans began chanting, "Spear Britney! Spear Britney! Spear Britney!"

December 8, 2000 - The New York Post reports Pink's effort to say hi to Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears backstage at the Billboard Awards while neglecting to say hi to host Kathy Griffin prompted her to say, "Oh, don't say hi then, b*tch." Pink fired back "You may have thought you were funny in front of all those people, but if you have something to say to me, say it to my face!"

December 8, 2000 - Britney Spears has pulled out of the Smash Hits Poll Winners Party at the last minute, to the disappointment of her fans in the UK. A spokesman told Megastar, "It is quite annoying that she's pulled out. But there are plenty of great British acts that will still be there. The line-up is still amazing and we won't let Britney spoil the day." A Jive records spokesperson told MTVasia, "She's got other commitments in the States -- she's about to go on a holiday, and then she's rehearsing for the American Music Awards."

December 8, 2000 - E! Online's Ted Casablanca reports Britney Spears was very pleasant on a flight from to Los Angeles after Thanksgiving, signing autographs for passengers and crew. Britney checked out the latest In Style magazine and a photo of Christina Aguilera during flight.

December 8, 2000 - There's an interview supposedly with the guy that tattooed the *NSYNC guys and fixed up Britney's tattoo, though I'm not sure where Frankie Orange interview is originating from.

December 7, 2000 - Interesting commentary on Justin and Britney from GroupieCentral.com's report from the My VH1 Music Awards, where they say, "Let's just end all speculation right here. They are a REAL couple and it's not for publicity. Forget all the virginity bullsh**. There's no way they aren't f***ing each others brains out. We've seen how they are off camera and they are exactly what they are: horny teenagers in lust. That doesn't mean that Britney is Justin's only girlfriend but she's his main girlfriend."

December 7, 2000 - Julie Moran was backstage at the Billboard Music Awards for ET to ask Britney if she was shocked to win her award, and she revealed, "All of the people that were nominated, *NSYNC, i was like what? Okay, me? I was very excited. I was so nervous, i was like, oh god, don't miss anybody."

December 7, 2000 - The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Britney Spears walked out of Gordon Biersch Brewing Co. without tipping the waiter for their complimentary meal. Worse yet, their server went to Starbucks after Spears wanted a vanilla frappuccino they didn't sell, using his own $4 to pay for the drink, meaning it cost the server to wait on Britney and friends.

December 7, 2000 - Entertaindom.com reports Britney Spears has revealed revealed that she wants to go to a university to study entertainment law.

December 7, 2000 - The autographed white Skechers that Britney Spears auctioned off on Planet Hollywood to benefit charity raised $1400.

December 6, 2000 - More details on Britney's stage appearance in San Diego to celebrate her 19th birthday, as apparently she appeared in disguise, wearing a wig and glasses during *NSYNC's performance of Just Got Paid. When the crowd asked to help sing happy birthday to her, female fans started booing and hissing drowning out those actually singing Happy Birthday, according to reports from Entertaindom.com, MTVasia, and The Sun, leaving Britney visibly upset.

December 6, 2000 - Britney Spears won the Billboard Music Award for Albums artist of the year at last night's show in Las Vegas, which was presented by Mandy Moore.

December 6, 2000 - allstar reports Jessica Simpson caught a very early flight to Las Vegas for last night's Billboard Music Awards to get in her workout before the show, reporedly telling her posse, "Did you see how good Britney [Spears] looked at VMAs? There's a lot of pressure!"

December 6, 2000 - While many sites yesterday were reporting Christina Aguilera's special beat the ratings of both *NSYNC and Britney Spears last week, they fail to mention Christina's show was on a larger network and was the beneficiary of starting before ABC ratings powerhouse, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

December 6, 2000 - Entertaindom.com reports Eminem's thoughts on pop music, summed up as "My instinct is to screw Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears and kill every member of 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys."

December 4, 2000 - Britney Spears was at *NSYNC's show in San Diego to close the 2nd NSA tour. Britney was brought out for everyone to sing Happy Birthday to her for her 19th Birthday. And from the message boards, "She hugged all the guys and Justin gave her a peck on the cheek. Chris wouldn't stop hugging Britney and Justin said if he didn't stop he'd 'bust his butt.'"

December 4, 2000 - The Star reports the reason Britney admitted to dating Justin was because Tonya Mitchell was moving in on her territory and trying to seduce Justin. They report Britney has already had words with Tonya and told her that Justin is taken.

December 3, 2000 - Heavy.com's Behind the Music That Sucks features an animated clip of Britney Spears and her rise to fame, very funny stuff. The Christina Aguilera animation also features a 'Terminator Britney'.

December 2, 2000 - Britney Spears has been nominated for the Female Musical Performer category in the 27th Annual People's Choice Award which will be held January 7, 2001, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
