fox special highlights

Britney performed for a huge audience in Hawaii for her fox special taped in April. She started by driving around Hawaii with Hawaii 5-0 playing in the background. They played the 'Go Britney' intro theme when she hit the stage and then performed Crazy. Britney then talked about her schedule and one of the assistants said she needs a mocha from Coffee Bean every day and sometimes they need private jets to bring it to her [sounds kinda diva-ish eh?].

Her next song was Sometimes, then she talked about her dancers, which she said are "like my friends". Karissa Seaman, on of the dancers, said "we go shopping alot." and TJ added "it doesn't feel like a job because we're having fun at the same time." Britney then performed a heartbreaker serenade to some guy named Peter, wearing an outfit alot like the original heartbreaker Mariah Carey [baby got back!] and performed From the Bottom of My Broken Heart to him.

Destiny's Child popped in to sing Say My Name. That was followed up by Britney playing the role of Ed McMahon of Publisher's Clearinghouse by going to the door of her #1 fan and surprising her. Jennifer called up a bunch of friends and they hung out for awhile. The next segment was with all of Britney's best friends Jansen, Courtney, and Lauralynn. They went parasailing and Britney said it's the funnest thing she's ever done. All her friends were babes too, none were overweight either.

Britney then sung Born to Make You Happy and followed up with a hula dance. We didn't see Justin the whole special even though he was there, and no sign of the two's dirty hula dance that was reported to have upset the locals. Britney then sang Oops before they had her in a pool with a dolphin and later after singing Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know, her security guards talked about their jobs of keeping her safe. Britney said she snuck away from security to hit the beach one day and wasn't bothered much.

R&B great Joe then serenaded Britney who was with her friends in an outdoor bar. Britney then made a surprise visit to one of the schools in Hawaii to answer a couple of questions and gave everybody a hug in the class afterwards. She closed the show singing Baby One More Time and several times was giggling her boobs in the song. From what we saw, there wasn't much if any lipsynching going on, especially in non dance songs where you could here the tone lower when she shifted the microphone. Her dance routines like BOMT you could here Britney breathing during the non-singing portions.
