August 30, 2000 - Entertaindom.com reports that Carmen still loves Dennis and admits "We love each other so much. Unfortunately, right now we can't be together. But we talk on the phone every day." [strange, as several interviews I've heard her in she says she hasn't talked to Dennis in awhile]

August 26, 2000 - A great picture of Carmen is up for bids on eBay. The  8x10 by acclaimed photographer Geoffrey Cordner (item #411986188) is bid at $20.50 and ends today.

August 22, 2000 - Carmen Electra is posing nude in the December issue of Playboy, she told Fox news this morning in an interview. She said she just got done shooting and in fact was still wearing jewelry that was embedded into her skin, like a jeweled Playboy bunny on her ankle. Electra also was shocked and hoped the $10 million lawsuit levied against her ex Dennis Rodman for date rape turns out to be untrue. Tonight, Carmen is judging over 500 male models in an event for FHM magazine, which she'll appear on next month's cover.

August 19, 2000 - Carmen Electra will be on hand to celebrate at Entertainment Tonight's fifth annual Emmy Party following the 52nd Emmy Awards presentation on Sunday, September 10, 2000 at 7:30pm. The event will be in Beverly Hills.

August 19, 2000 - Carmen was at the Teen Choice Awards showing off her tight abs.

August 19, 2000 - The New York Daily News reports that Carmen Electra joined Hugh Hefner, his two girlfriends (Mandy and Sandy Bentley), Christina Aguilera, and Matthew McConaughey for dinner and dancing at the Sunset Room in Hollywood. The party was to honor Playmate Lisa Dergan.

August 16, 2000 - Carmen Electra will be in the next issue of FHM, on sale September 12th.

August 15, 2000 - In the most lopsided poll ever run on abstracts.net, 96.9% of you said Yes to the question "Should Carmen Electra pose in Playboy again?" after 556 votes. I'd say there's a good chance their wishes will come true here.

August 12, 2000 - A great picture of Carmen is up for bids on eBay. The autographed 8x10 (item #402955600) is unbid at $24.99 and ends Sunday.

August 12, 2000 - Carmen Electra attended the premiere of the Maxim Motel on Thursday. Their PR said, "To bring the Maxim Motel to life, 21 of the motel's 65 guestrooms will become simultaneous, thematic parties. Inside, guests will discover a live tattoo parlor, a room featuring four lip-syncing ``little people'' dressed as Kiss, a kasbah, a honeymoon suite, and more."

August 10, 2000 - Carmen Electra needs a Man! reports the National Examiner, who quotes her as saying "I feel like I want to have a relationship, but I think that if you go out there and try to look for one, you'll never find it. I've just decided to focus on my career and my own healing. One step at a time I guess."

August 7, 2000 - Well the Enquirer's fashion section finally had good things to say about Carmen, saying "Carmen Electra ups the voltage in a brilliant blue belly-baring number that shows off her 100 pounds of perfection."

August 1, 2000 - Carmen Electra makes a guest appearance in Lil Kim's No Matter What I Say, though the National Enquirer reports there was some digital editing of her spot. Carmen was asked to remove her panties to avoid a pantyline, but the move revealed too much if viewers freeze framed her image, prompting some quick editing.
