Manson says of her MTV Diary show, "You're not a nasty little witch afterall but a really genuine and caring individual. The problem is: the people you are referring to just happen to be your dancers, make-up artists and hairdressers. I mean... I may be missing something here, but aren't these people on your payroll?!" April 25, 2001 - Christina Aguilera's mother Shelly Kearns chimed in on the pair's opinion of Eminem on the LiveDaily message boards saying, "Both Christina and I have always liked a lot of his work."

April 25, 2001 - Shelly Kearns addressed rumors of Christina being anorexic in the LiveDaily message boards saying, "Christina is NOT anorexic or any such thing. She is genetically very small, as is her sister Rachel, as am I. I am 41 years old and only gained weight for the very first time in my whole life (no matter what or how much I ate!) only after the birth of my son 5 years ago and subsequent surgery, which seemed to have changed my metabolism."

April 24, 2001 - The Enquirer's Mike Walker reports Christina Aguilera was star-struck when she bumped into Brad Pitt at a health store and told the actor she loves his films and added the two share the same birthday on December 18th. Aguilera then asked what he was doing on his birthday, and Brad threw cold water on Christina saying, "I'm spending it with my wife... nice meeting you" before quickly leaving.

April 24, 2001 - O-Town band member Jacob told NME.com he had no interest in dating Britney saying, "I don't take any sloppy seconds." Bandmate Erik said when asked if he'd rather have sex with Britney or Christina responded, "I don't really want to sleep with either of them. If I had to, I'd do both. At the same time." Read more.

April 21, 2001 - Worldpop reports a student/photographer at Avonworth High was diciplined by the pricipal after he took pictures of Christina Aguilera's visit to the school only to immediately try to sell them to the Star. Christina was furious after finding out the plan and after a couple of phone calls between the school and the tabloid, the Star agreed not to print them.

April 20, 2001 - PBS Frontline did a special this week on The Merchants of Cool and focused on MTV and TRL, quoting New York Times music critic Ann Powers as saying, "They  20 people in a room and give 'em a new flavor of chewing gum and say, 'Do you like this?' The chewing gum is called Christina Aguilera. That's really what happens." PBS will re-air the eye-opening special May 1st.

April 20, 2001 - Missy Elliott talked to Worldpop about the experience recording Lady Marmalade calling it 'very fun.' Missy says "'Pink went in and did her part, Christina went in and did her part and all of them got to sit there and listen to each person. I believe it became, not competitive, but more motivating because you had great singers and everybody wanted to make sure that their vocals were 100% so they gave 100%." Read more.

April 19, 2001 - Apparently Shelly's had more than she can stand of DJ pranks by the jocks at B94. The station sent out one of their DJ's to find Christina's new house prompting Shelly to fume, "See, a lot of people think this is funny, but if you knew exactly what its like to have your home turned into a radio station contest and such things each and every time Christina comes home, you'd understand the concern." April 12, 2001 - The Sun reports Charlotte Church is calling Britney and Christina's look's too sexy saying, "Britney looks great and so does Christina but they don't need to do all that stuff they do in their videos. Christina, especially, has an amazing amount of talent and she doesn't have to do that."
