July 13, 2001 - Fanny Rabasse, spokeswoman for the Moulin Rouge Club is angry over the image the remake of Lady Marmalade reflects on the club. Fanny said, "Our club is NOT a sex club and has always been a very high class production with top dancers. We are trying to draw attention away from the whole topless image that people know about. In 'Lady Marmalade,' it has been shot in a very different way. Christina and the others just gyrate their bottoms around and one of them [Pink] is even on a bed. It is very sexual." Read more.

NikDC adds, "In the meantime, Shelly will continue to focus on the Fan Club and the other projects she's working on and her forum will remain closed though accessible for reading." Hopefully Shelly somewhere will address the post-settlement stance on fans buying Just Be Free, as she earlier had commented, "we've had an awful time with the people who are putting this record out.
