has a backstage report from Thursday's MTV Video Music Awards, which includes
news that Christina Aguilera and Eminem shared some time together which
at initial glance could have easily been construed as an argument, but
once the two finished their animated chat, they shared a quick embrace.

the Insult Comic Dog issued a statement to his fans on his official website
Friday, following his near bust-up with Eminem at the Video Music Awards
on Thursday. "I would like all of you to know that I am fine, that the
scuffle at the MTV awards involving Eminem, Moby and Eminem's trusty friend
who threw my pooping paper in the air did not result in permanent injury,"
Triumph assured fans. "As soon as Christina Aguilera came out, I licked
myself as a test and my pink thing was perfectly functional. You will be

Gossip to Go with Flo on K104 had the DJ's and Flo talking about Michael
Jackson's birthday present turned Artist of the Millenium Award at last
night's MTV Video Music Awards. They also talked about the Pepsi firing
of Ludacris after conservative talk show host Bill O'Reilly announced a
boycott. Finally, they gave Christina Aguilera a rough time for her racy

on Christina Aguilera's interview before the MTV Video Music Awards on
Thursday. Christina explained her new album is tentatively titled 'Stripped'
and clarified, "Everyone is gonna think sexual not like that but emotionally
and personally stripped down so you can see me for the first time. It's

popbitch.com e-mail newsletter says Christina Aguilera is duping Nelly
in an effort to sound 'urrban', referencing the 'rr' in Nelly's 'Hot In
Herre'. Popbitch writes, "Now Christina Aguilera has jumped on the bandwagon.
The mucky midget has announced that her second album will be called 'Dirrty'.
Is it a reference to her cl**rring?"

on the LiveDaily.com message board says Cabana Boy Geoff Alan 93.3 FM in
San Diego wasn't too keen to play the new Christina Aguilera release "because
she was very mean to him, and that personality really matters. He also
said that Christina should remember that she is what she is because of
the public support. Then he asked some girl who called in to get her opinion
and the girl said that the song was 'ok' and then the DJ said that he doesn't
like anything by Christina because of her attitude, but if the listeners
like the song, then he will play it."

has details on Christina Aguilera's soon to be released album now titled
'Listen', which drops on October 29th. Erik Bradley at WBBM/Chicago beamed,
"Produced by Rockwilder, it’s a total smash! I couldn’t wait to play this
on the radio. She’s comin back strong." Look for a video to the album's
first release 'Dirrty' on MTV around September 20th, while the music network

August 29, 2002 - Associated
Press spoke with industry insiders on the big fall lineup of new albums
hitting stores. Alex Pappademas, an associate editor at Spin commented
on Christina Aguilera's yet to be titled new album saying, "There's always
a sense with these teen-pop people that they are very micromanaged. She
seems like she's breaking out and doing controversial things ... (but)
there's always the possibility of a backlash against her, like, she's trying
to be something she's not." Pappademas seems to be betting on *NSYNC star
Justin Timberlake to be the big winner with his solo debut. "There's going
to be a lot of attention paid to this, because of all the boy-band types
he seems to be the who will break out," he said. Read more.

reports Christina Aguilera marched up to a long line for the ladies' room
at a Hollywood party demanding to use the restroom proclaiming to the attendant,
"I'm sick - I have to cut in line!" Aguilera and pals ended up not taking
no for an answer and occupied the facility for 20 minutes. Then when exiting
she snapped at the attendant, "You were SO rude!" Apparently guilt or the
thought that the attendant might blab to the tabloids made her second guess
her diva-ish ways and upon returning to use the bathroom later, she apologized
and handed the attendant a $100 tip. They must've blabbed anyways.

August 27, 2002 - It appears
the rumor about Rick Dees premiering Christina Aguilera's new song 'Dirrty'
today was untrue, but andpop.com reports that the song will begin playing

the LiveDaily.com message board claims to have met the guys from BBMak
after BFD4 at Seahawks Stadium on Monday. sunny778 writes, "Then after
the show I went to the after party and I got up to VIP and talked to two
of the guys from BBMak again, which with one of them I was having a pretty
good conversation. We talked about what kind of music they listened to,
which was Vertical Horizon and Travis amoung others. I asked him if he
liked Christina's music and he said yes, she is very talented, but then
he said how disappointed he was when they met he because she wasn't very
nice. But he did say that if I ever met her he hopes she's nice to me...how

Times reports Christina Aguilera, *NSYNC, Usher, Aaron Carter, the Baha
Men, Smash Mouth, Jessica Simpson and the A-Teens have all contributed
to 'Disneymania,' an album of Disney songs due September 17th from Walt
Disney Records. A TV special is being planned for the fall.

official website has a six-part video interview with Christina Aguilera.
Jamie Foster Brown asked her about boyfriends, being a role model, people
lip-synching, and then they went into the bathroom together, where Aguilera
put eye makeup on Jamie, and then Christina confuses some pills Jamie had

has a new album out called 'Dirrty.' That's the name of the album, 'Dirrty.'

August 14, 2002 - Globe magazine
reports RCA execs are furious that Christina Aguilera delayed finishing
her new album because she was in bed for six weeks, as she was still crying
over her breakup with dancer Jorge Santos. "RCA spent $1.3 million making
an album that sucks and probably won't even gross $2 million," said an
insider."If it doesn't sell, they could bail on her."
August 14, 2002 - The touching
moment when Christina Aguilera beat out Kid Rock, Macy Gray, and Britney
Spears for the best new artist at the 2000 Grammys, as featured on the

York Post reports Cris Judd has signed on with Roklin management in Los
Angeles and, according to pals, "He is very keen to get into acting." Jennifer
Lopez's ex-husband has also been hitting the Los Angeles club circuit hard.
"He has been going out every night to the Lounge and AD, and is just having
a good time," said a source. "He and a bunch of people always go back to

chatted with producer Glen Ballard who worked extensively with Christina
Aguilera on her forthcoming album. Ballard says Aguilera has more talent
than just the ability to sing. "I was very impressed by the fact that she
has taken the role of being a writer quite seriously and really applied
a lot of effort and class in drawing from her own inspiration," Ballard
said of Aguilera. "I think she's a wonderful writer. We already know she's
a great singer, but I think we'll be able to add to that. She's a really

board earlier today and again made a correction on the name of her daughter's
first single on the upcoming album. Shelly writes, "Just wanted to let
you know a recent development...the single title when released will be
spelled DIRRTY. The info on the official site will be changed soon."

Aguilera's official site reports the singer is set to grace the covers
of several magazine covers to help promote her upcoming album. Look for
X-Tina in the October 26th Rolling Stone, the December issues of YM and
Blender, the January issue of Maxim, and the January/February issues of
Cosmogirl and Jane.
August 7, 2002 - Christina
Aguilera's mother popped on to the LiveDaily.com message boards earlier
today to correct the name of the first single off her upcoming album. Shelly
writes, "I was talking to Christina on the phone about the single this
morning, and she told me that I got the title wrong. It's NOT 'Let's Get
Dirty'. The correct title is simply 'Dirty.'" Shelly added later, "Christina
sounds very, very excited! I don't blame her. Wait till you hear this whole
album. It truly is amazing." Finally, as to whether X-Tina would be at
the VMAs, Shelly commented, "Oh, and no, Christina will not be at the VMA's.
She'll be in the middle of photo shoots and video shoots and all kinds

Aguilera's official site announced today that the first single off her
upcoming album will be 'Let's Get Dirty', which will be released mid-September.
The video is to be shot in Los Angeles by Paul Hunter at the end of this
month. 'Lets Get Dirty' was produced and written by Christina and Rock
Wilder, (also produced Lady Marmalade), with three others chipping in,
including Redman who does a rap for the song and will also appear in the
video.

Aguilera went ot US Weekly after being overcharged for recent purchases,
including a nail salon in Los Angeles that charged her $400 for a basic
$25 acrylic-and-airbrush treatment. Another popular clothing store in L.A.
billed the singer $100 for t-shirts and other items that she never purchased.
"I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me," she said, "but I think you
should treat everyone, famous or not, with the same level of respect -
it's not right."

Aguilera's mother Shelly Kearns is taking fan input on her daughter's official
site that currently is being revamped. Shelly says, "Before this site goes
up, I am determined to make sure your opinion is heard, and I've let everyone

of confusion on the release date. "The real information is this: the album

Jeannette Walls reports Justin Timberlake's spokesman says an interview
that appeared in the Scottish Daily Record is "complete made-up garbage."
The paper had quoted Timberlake saying in regards to Christina Aguilera,
"Just look at her -- she's so hot. What a body on that girl. Christina
is not into self-denial. She’s wild. After years with Britney, seeing Christina
