February 28, 2003 - Christina Aguilera tells Radio 1 not to believe all the talk that she's dating *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake. "Don't believe all you read! Don't believe the hype is definitely first and foremost," Aguilera said. "But you've just got to let it roll off your back. I don't even like to necessarily read the positive things sometimes because when you start dwelling on that then you'll get upset when you read the negative. So really I just let them write what they want to write. It's sensationalized and overdone and misconstrued so it's like 'what's the point?' It's just nonsense."

Also, news that the video for the single would be featured on MTV's Making the Video have been removed. This has led to speculation that the track is either being delayed and/or replaced with another track from 'Stripped'.

February 20, 2003 - Christina Aguilera phoned in from London to MTV's Total Request Live on Monday to accept her TRL Evolution Award and chat with hosts Carson Daly and Britney Spears. February 20, 2003 - Blender magazine spoke with Robbie Williams to weigh in on their Rock Goddesses selections, and the British singer was able to get digs in at Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, and Christina Aguilera. On Mariah, he said to the interviewer suggesting the two singles hook up, "You're carrying the McBonkers torch to the stadium of mad." And on Aguilera's makeover: "She's dirty and needs a wash." February 18, 2003 - The Edge Morning Madhouse in New Zealand spoke with Pink recently and asked the singer what Christina Aguilera is really like. Pink, who worked with Aguilera on 'Lady Marmalade' and reportedly kissed the singer at a birthday bash, said, "I dont no... I dont think anyone really does." Asked if she was nice or nasty, Pink says, "I plead the 5th. My momma said if you cant say nothing nice, don't say nothing at all." February 18, 2003 - The Sun reports Christina Aguilera was on her way to London’s Astoria nightclub G.A.Y. over the weekend when one of her assistants phoned ahead to tell club bosses to impose a smoking ban. Aguilera was worried the smoke would harm her voice. "Some of Christina’s more loyal fans put out their cigarettes straight away but there were still quite a few people lighting up at the back," a source said.

February 14, 2003 - Christina Aguilera's uncle Johann Aguilera is continuing his attack on the diva and her mother Shelly Kearns over their abuse charges leveled at Fausto Aguilera, Christina's father. Johann blasted to Globe magazine, "Christina is a liar! She's been brainwashed by her mother and she's painted Fausto, her loving father, as an abusive monster. She's singing that my brother ruled hermother with his fists and she's saying that he punched her - a four-year-old - in the face, making her bleed. It's lies, it's nonsense, it's made up and it's getting worse the more she works on it." He added, "My brother could not do anything like that - who could? What father could hit a toddler so she bled, then ignore her? It's a cruel vicious fairy tale!"

February 12, 2003 - Lime magazine did an exclusive interview with Christina Aguilera at a London Press Conference which appeared in the December 2002 edition. They asked the singer what the biggest misconception was about being famous. "The lack of privacy, of course, and just how crazy it can be," Aguilera said. "Until you've really been through it and lived it, it's such a crazy game. I got into this business because I love to sing and perform, and I live for music. It was almost disappointing in a way, seeing everything first hand. I realized that music almost comes last sometimes. There's a lot of misconceptions, but I just try to do my thing. February 7, 2003 - The New York Post reports that the tour team-up of *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera was prompted by necessity according to an insider. "Justin is opening up for Christina because he didn't sell as many albums as she did, but - get this - together they don't even have enough pulling power to sell out arenas," the insider laughed. Promoters tell their label BMG that research shows the pair will have to play in 10,000-seat "theaters," and while BMG hoped to nab $75 a ticket, they'll have to settle for $35. A Jive rep responded to the charge saying, "The tour is an equal, co-headlining tour. Theaters were never even considered, it will be a multi-city arena tour. Tickets were priced relative to the economy and will be relatively cheap - $75 is way off. Justin and Christina sold about the same number of albums."

Leo was spotted kissing Aguilera at a secret redezvous after the 'Catch Me If You Can' premiere in London a few days ago at the Sketch club in posh Mayfair. A spy revealed, "They were being quite intimate, kissing and cuddling. There were other people with them but they were clearly very close."
