June 28, 2004 - Christina
Aguilera spoke with Britain's Glamour magazine about the letter she wrote
to pop rival Britney Spears after their war of printed words in Blender
magazine several months ago, but says Spears hasn't responded. "The press
contorted my words and maybe they did the same to hers," she said. "So
I wrote to her saying, 'There's no need for this. We did have a friendship
once. Let's not get caught up in the tabloids and have this craziness forced
upon us.' I went on to tell her that I have great admiration for her work
and to hang in there. I don't know why I haven't had a response." Read

28, 2004 - Us Weekly spoke with Christina Aguilera's stylist Trish Summerville
about her new classy style. "She's going through a transition," Summerville
said. "It's a little softer, more playful." She added, "I think [acting]
is the rought she wants to go in, and this look shows hat she can go in
different directions."

"I really don't understand why, after so many years there is so much comparison
between Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. (Yep... Another essay!)
You know, Christina’s lovers, who are mostly the Britney haters, always
try to compare Britney to Christina, and always try to bring Britney down
by her lack of "talent, nonsensical lyrics, being unable to sing," ect.
ect. ect. and all the gibberish we are all tire of hearing." Read more.
June 28, 2004 - Christina
Aguilera has changed more than her breasts. She's also had rhinoplasty
on the bridge of her nose. It's slimmer and her nose tip is smaller, according
to GoodPlasticSurgery.com, which posted several "before" and "after" photos.

writes "ONLY source that proves poor ticket sales is the New York Post:
A TABLOID newspaper. How can anyone with a sound judgment believe the words
written on the pages of the NY Post Gossip section aka page 6? The only
real positive thing ever published about Christina in that newspaper was
about her recent ELLE Cover issue. Otherwise, they are always negative
towards Christina. It's obvious they pulled those ticket sales numbers
out of their asses." Read more.
June 25, 2004 - The New York
Post reports Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend Jordan Bratman were spotted
canoodling at a table in the back corner of Nobu until two parental types

June 25, 2004 - The Mirror
reports Christina Aguilera has agreed to open the Harrods sale next Monday
for a staggering fee of $365,000, but in addition to that, the tabloid
is told the 23-year-old has asked for a few extras to be thrown in. "She's
heard that in past years bargains have included a plasma screen TV reduced
from £1,500 to £100 and she's asked for a personal tour before
the general public are let loose on the store," an insider revealed, adding,
"Christina doesn't need to do any promotional work as she's probably the
hottest singer around right now. She receives dozens of requests each week
but turns the majority of them down flat." Read more.
June 25, 2004 - Popdirt.com's
previous poll asking if you thought Christina Aguilera's fans should sue
her for not disclosing her fan club was run by a bankrupt company, FansRULE,
saw 39.5% say no, I'm sure she had no idea, while 35.7% said yes, the buck
stops with Christina, and 24.8% said those ripped off should get free tickets
for Aguilera's next tour. The coverage may have prompted MTV
and now TheAssociatedPress
to also cover the story, which hopefully will help Xposed fans to get their
money back. Check out complete results here.

writes "I'd just like to take a moment to remind everyone on this site
that Christina Aguilera cancelled her summer tour because of strained vocal
cords six weeks ago. She was recommended to rest her voice for six weeks.
She has done that. Her schedule is now too full to reschedule the dates
- and who knows, poor ticket sales could be a reason, I'm not ruling it
out - so she's going to do a one off show in her hometown. So sue her.
So everyone can quit saying she lied about the vocal cords and is singing
anyway - she obeyed the doctor's orders and rested her voice for six weeks.
She is now free to perform again. And for whatever personal reasons, she's
not rescheduling the tour. This isn't new news, they said this from the
beginning."
June 25, 2004 - A. Scott
Walton of the The Atlanta Journal-Constitution picked up a copy of July's
Elle magazine featuring Christina Aguilera on the cover and was impressed
with the photo layout and the article. Walton said, "The July Elle marks
a novel turning point for her. She's not reinventing (à la Madonna)
nor repackaging (à la Britney) per se. At the seasoned age of 23,
Aguilera's just blossoming." Read more.
June 25, 2004 - Christina
Aguilera left a message on her official website on Tuesday (June 22) apologizing
to fans for cancelling her summer tour, her work on her next album -- both
English and Spanish albums, her flirting with '30s and '40s looks and Marilyn
Monroe-esque styles, finding the right movie, the importance of voting,
it'll be her first time voting at 23 (though she for some reason said she
was 22), and more. Listen to the message here.

(the same with Britney Spears fans overrating Britney). Because like, I

woman empowerment and feeling beautiful about yourself no matter what anybody
says, but she isn't the only one in the world that has a voice like that
and has songs that can have the same meaning." Read more.

June 17, 2004 - Fans who
purchased tickets for Christina Aguilera's cancelled tour from her official
site's fan club got news at this point, they won't be getting a refund
for their tickets unless they can obtain a reversal from their credit card
issuer. AzoffMusic Management on behalf of Christina Aguilera wrote: "We
are writing to you to let you know how sorry Christina feels that you have
not received your refunds from FansRule. When we hired FansRule it was
with the belief that they would provide the best possible service to our
fans. In fact, for a long time, they did provide an excellent service.
When Christina cancelled her tour, as a result of doctor's instructions
related to voice problems, we immediately contacted FansRule and insisted
that they pay refunds to everyone who bought packages to the tour. Our
expectation was that the refunds would be made by May 31. We have been
actively and aggressively pursuing FansRule to cause them to refund the
money but, as of this date, our efforts have been unsuccessful. To the
extent that you are able we would suggest that you contact your credit
card company and cancel the transaction because the intended goods that
you purchased were not delivered." FansRULE filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy
in November 2003, yet Aguilera's management apparently failed to relay
this vital information to fans who purchased the tickets well after the
bankruptcy filing, and it appears despite that important omission, Aguilera
isn't willing to eat the costs to cover for her most loyal fans. Read more.

writes "For a short while in 2002 it seemed like Christina Aguilera was
the new princess of pop, who has triumphed over Britney Spears when it
came to popularity. People thought Britney was over, they doubted that
her comeback would be a success, Christina was the one who people talked
about, she was the Queen of tours with her Justified Stripped tour, but
when November 2003 came, Britney came and stole all that away from Christina
in a blink of an eye." Read more.
June 14, 2004 - Patrick MacDonald
of the Seattle Times previewed No Doubt's gig in Auburn, Washington but
took a hard swipe at Christina Aguilera in the process. MacDonald writes,
"White River Amphitheatre was to have opened its season May 13 with a newsworthy
event: The first date on the international tour of the new, improved Christina
Aguilera, with less makeup and more clothes. The tour was canceled, however,
supposedly because of the pop diva's throat problems. But it was probably
due to lack of interest. Aguilera has a great voice, but she tarted herself
up so much, and cheapened herself with the sexy stuff, that she became
a joke." Read more.
June 14, 2004 - Liz Smith

Actually, we wouldn't want her to." Read more.

sales.) I was wondering why she was touring in support of a 2 year old
