October 11, 2004 - Anonymous writes "I know this has probably been written thousands of times, but oh well, here I go. I am starting to get irritated about you naive Britney Spears fans. You guys seem to always want to act so ignorant towards Christina Aguilera in some essays when the essay isn't even about Christina! Why do you guys always have to bring her down to make your point? And it's even more irritating that some of you write essays about how you don't like bias and hypocritical Christina fans when you guys do the exact same thing!" Read more.

October 11, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Once again, Britney Spears manages to thwart Christina's plan to steal Britney's crown as the ultimate Pop princess. When Britney Spears' career is looking great, Christina's on the other hand is going straight to hell, yet Christina fans insist that she will be here in 10 years time as opposed to Britney. Well obviously these Christina fans need to take a hint, her latest single 'Carwash' was an instant bona fide flop, and her summer tour was a disaster, with dismal ticket sales of a pathetic 40%." October 11, 2004 - Anonymous writes "I am going to first off say that all female pop stars who have been around for some time now "Beyonce Knowles, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Pink" are very talented. All have amazing voices (well Britney is a good performer and ground breaking artist so I guess that makes up for vocals) They have all had numerous hits, all have won Grammys (again except for Britney) all have been around for year and I am sure years to come. But the thing it, I have noticed that a lot of female pop stars don't like Christina." Read more.

I hear so many fans say "her message in the song was something that everyone can relate to and it was so touching"....did you happen to read the credits of that song? Christina didn't write ANY of the lyrics, or ANY of the music. Linda Perry did." Read more.

"It's been taught to us from the beginning of time with men trying to gain power by suppressing the woman and making her feel wrong about her sexuality," Aguilera argues. "And making up words that label women for being expressive of their sexuality. I'm up against older men, 20 years my senior. You either take that and learn to live under that thumb, or you take that and learn to be on the same page as them and you learn to change the game. One day I will do that - but this is the beginning." Read more.

October 4, 2004 - Anonymous writes "I was watching that MTV special she did for sex, voting and politics. October 4, 2004 - Joanna Weiss of the Boston Globe reviewed Drew Barrymore and Christina Aguilera's docmentaries for the MTV 'Choose or Lose' campaign, giving Aguilera's 'Sex, Votes, and Higher Power' special the best marks. "Indeed, there's something oddly admirable about Aguilera's special," Weiss wrote. "First and foremost, it has a point: Yes, kids, the government affects something you find fairly important. In her hometown of Pittsburgh, Aguilera interviews teens and 20-somethings about sex and its consequences. There are young women who had accidental pregnancies; a victim of domestic violence; recruits of the 'Silver Ring Thing' who have pledged to stay virgins until marriage. Because this is serious stuff, Aguilera has dialed the tart-o-meter down to roughly '6.' The sweaters are high-necked but oh-so-tight, and the skirts cut off at the top of the thigh. Her hair is curled and primped into a bun, professionally tousled. She's adopted an intent 'tell me more' look and an NPR accent." Read more.

It's every American's right and duty to get out there and vote." October 4, 2004 - Anonymous writes "Britney Spears is a hypocrite? Britney is a slut? Trash? Fat? Over? These questions would not sound so bizarre if they were not coming from raving Christina Aguilera fans. Let us have a little recap of the "Dirrty" one's image resume. Christina swapped all of her clothes for a faux ghetto accent, suddenly developed gargantuan-sized breasts, gained approximately 15 pounds, and sucks face with every female soft-core porn star in Hollywood. How does she not fit those crass accusations placed on Ms. Spears?" Read more.
