July 29, 2005 - Gemma Tarlach of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel took part in an online chat and was asked how of the "pop princesses" has the most talent. "Based on live performances I've actually witnessed, I think Christina Aguilera has the most impressive voice, when she puts her mind to actually using it," Tarlach said. "I also think Kelly Clarkson has the vocal skills to survive, though I'd like to see her tackle some more challenging material. And, if I can classify Evanescence as pop based on their huge commercial sales, or at least pop-metal, Amy Lee has got a lot of talent vocally." Read more.

July 19, 2005 - The Christian group 'The Resistance' is calling for Jessica Simpson to re-shoot her video for 'These Boots are Made for Walking' featured on the new Dukes of Hazzard movie being released August 5th. "She should be ashamed of herself," says John Conner, spokesperson for the group. Conner added, "It's disappointing to have Jessica, a pastor's daughter and Christian role model, join the ranks of the 'singing strippers' such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. She has one of the most beautiful voices, and is a very beautiful girl, but it's sad to see her whore herself out like this. The singer invited 10 strippers to show their moves in the Champagne Room, and Bratman chose his favorite four to the couple in the President's Room. Once in the completely private room, Aguilera also did some stripping and made out with a Beyonce lookalike named Jade.

July 19, 2005 - People magazine reports that Christina Aguilera has been wearing a cast in recent days because of a cutting accident with a piece of glass, not an argument with a zealous fan at a Paris nightclub has had previously been reported. "Her arm will remain in a cast for a few weeks in order for her injuries to heal correctly. It is uncomfortable and she has it in a sling to rest it," Aguilera's publicist, Jill Fritzo said. She added that the injury "had nothing to do with a fan." Read more.
