May 25, 2006 - Marc S. Malkin of 'The Insider' reports that several newspaper and magazine editors declined to run any of the Christina Aguilera photos featured in the new issue of GQ magazine because they feel they're way too racy.

May 25, 2006 - 'Access Hollywood' host Billy Bush blogged about his interview with Christina Aguilera on the set of her new 'Ain't No Other Man' music video. After waiting over two hours, a frustrated Bush blogged on May 3rd: "...it's apparent to me, there are no people approaching her with bad news, telling her, 'you should hurry up, Billy Bush has been waiting 2 hours.' Even if they had, I'm not sure I would have wanted to hear her answer..." But a day later, after catching grief from Aguilera's publicist via e-mail, Bush wrote, "Maybe my ego was bruised. Underneath, I may have expected Christina to come out of her trailer, say 'hi' and explain. After all, I'm there with an audience in the millions to promote her new album. May 25, 2006 - Though Christina Aguilera was quick to praise 'American Idol' season one champ Kelly Clarkson in her interview with GQ, the claws came out when asked about Mariah Carey. "She was never cool to me... to the point that one time we were at a party and I think she got really drunk, and she had just really derogatory things to say to me... But it was at that time that she had that breakdown, so she might have been very medicated," the singer told the magazine for its June cover story. But Mariah did not take the remarks sitting down. "I had hoped that Christina was in a better place now than the last time I saw her when she showed up uninvited at one of my parties and displayed questionable behavior," Mariah said in a statement to 'Access Hollywood'. "It is sad yet predictable that she would use my name at this time to reinvent past incidents for her promotional gain. It is in my heart to forgive and I will keep her in my prayers." Read more.

May 9, 2006 - MTV News spoke with DJ Premiere and Linda Perry about their work producing Christina Aguilera's forthcoming album 'Back To Basics'. "DJ Premier's half is very hip-hop with old samples, and then when my half of the album kicks in, all I can say is, just have a glass of wine and enjoy the ride," Perry said.
