August 31, 2000 - In this Month's
Spin Magazine 100 Sleaziest Moments in Rock, Fred Durst is named in the
#69 (no jokes) position for his clowing on Christina (not Eminem surprisingly).
She's quoted as saying Durst "Took me out one time and bout me a milk shake."
She of course denies the allegations made in Em's song, as well as Durst's
denial. Spin said of the incident "Either way Christina: in the words of
Bart Simpson to his sister 'I'll probably never say this to you again,
but you can do better.'"

opportunity to talk to Christina's mom Shelly Kearns is available at the
Live Daily message boards, most notably are Shelly's comments towards Jessica
Simpson, where she fires back about her negative remarks concerning her
daughter "Oh my gosh!! She actually did say that? Wow. That's disappointing.
Next question would be-WHY? ...Cheesy tabloids lies hurt enough, I don't
know if I care to deal with one of our own doing the same thing, whatever
the personal reasons might be. It hurts even more!" For more of her comments,

New York has been running a commercial where a Carson Daly 'soundalike'

the commercial and threatened to sue the voiceover actor if he tried another

hometown and the teasing she endured as a child in Rolling Stone brought
a harsh response from a resident, who said "I grew up a few streets from
where Christina Aguilera endured the supposedly spiteful tortures of her
Pittsburgh suburb. One would think that the Little Diva would not have
to revert to dissing her hometown for sympathy. Turning up her nose now
at those of us who did not sufficiently kiss her butt in her early years
only perpetuates the snob label she is so desperately running from."
