June 30, 2000 - Dana Carvey was asked on Larry King tonight if more Hollywood celebritie should be involved in politics. Carvey sarcastically answered Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears are most qualified with global issues and should run the country.

June 29, 2000 - Eminem posing with his "Christina Aguilera" doll at a concert, from this month's Spin magazine.

June 29, 2000 - Christina Aguilera was on CNN recently making the comment "There are a lot of artists out there, and a lot of pre-manufactured ones if you know what I mean. And time will tell who will carry on." [ouch, perhaps this is why we never see Christina pictured with her former Mouseketeers anymore?]

June 29, 2000 - Ted Casablanca's weekly gossip column included a letter from a writer taking a shot at Christina, saying "Have you not seen Christina Aguilera's peroxide 'do and her Lee Press-Ons? And if you want to compare the two, at least Britney is an entertaining performer. She can sing and dance. Christina always looks like she is dressed in her mom's high heels and can't move." Ted backed up his earlier statements saying "I say Christina's the one more likely to break out of the teenybopper mode."

June 29, 2000 - Pagesix.com reports Christina Aguilera is now the new spokessinger for Dana Perfumes' teen-oriented Fetish line, which is priced in the $10 range and aimed at 16-22 year olds and will be in stores in early 2001.

June 28, 2000 - Christina was featured after Janet Jackson's Making the Video show tonight for an upcoming show featuring her next video, and again she was wearing pink hair extensions.

June 27, 2000 - Tad Lowe and eYada.com's Dan and Scott were joking about Carson Daly, as Tad's public humiliation of Carson at an awards show was the reason he got canned from VH-1. They joked about having a pop-up video on TRL joking that the reason Christina Aguilera's video was number one was because she just blew Carson.

June 26, 2000 - If you watched the rerun of Christina's performance this weekend, you may have noticed they edited out the booing after her second song.

June 26, 2000 - Barry Williams (Greg Brady on Brady Bunch) was on eYada.com's Dan and Scott show talking about Christina Aguilera and how Eminem talks about giving him VD. Barry says he was willing to go down that road and talked about breast f***ing her to avoid getting herpes. He says he calls her "Chrissy" and wanted to do a 'hard R' video production with her.

June 26, 2000 - On Eyada's Dan and Scott show's during the Ask Milton segment, a emailer asked who's better to masturbate to, Christina, Britney, or Mandy Moore. He says Britney is the best and Mandy's good too although the one you'd want to have actual sex with would be Christina because he thought she seems like the biggest sl*t and she looks like she likes it an*l.

June 25, 2000 - Christina posed with Garth Brooks at the Hollywood Bowl where he was added to the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. Looks like she was wearing the same extensions that she wore on the Tonight Show.

June 24, 2000 - Also amongst the Rolling Stone comments are about father Fausto "People don't know domestic abuse unless they're in it," Aguilera adds. "It's not only physical abuse, but there's damage inside — mental abuse." Her stepdad she says also wanted to get on a plane and kick Eminem's ass.

June 24, 2000 - Those worrying that Em is bashing Christina while on tour fret not, I was at the Seattle show last night and she was only mentioned in the infamous song. Eminem seems more concerned with bashing Kim right now, though Kid Rock wasn't so kind, as Kid bashed *NSYNC and BSB while asking Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears to "suck my d**k"

June 22, 2000 - Readers responded to Ted's story about Britney posing in Playboy saying "At least Britney Spears has the body to even be rumored to pose in Playboy. I don't hear anything about the magazine knocking down Christina Aguilera's door to print her skinny bare ass." Ted came to her defense saying she's nowhere near Calista Flockhart.

June 22, 2000 - Our poll asking "Who's your favorite young pop diva?" produced predictable results with 47.84% saying Britney Spears, 35.37% saying Christina Aguilera, 10.37% saying Jessica Simpson, and 6.42% voting for Mandy Moore. An amazing 19,031 votes were cast.

June 20, 2000 - dotmusic.com is reporting additional information regarding Christina's violent and abusive childhood. Christina says of her reunion with her father earlier this year "He's apologised. I think he had a lot of guilt. There was so much domestic violence going on when I grew up with my dad travelling in the military." She also said the was cynical about why her father reuniting with her perhaps trying to cash in on her success, but she says "he's a stranger to me but we're going to try and build on it."

June 20, 2000 - Worldpop reports that Christina will follow in Britney's footsteps again and have her own TV special on ABC around the end of the year.

June 19, 2000 - More Christina rumors shot down on her official site. They say the Rolling Stone cover, both the outfit and the pose, were deceptively obtained and probably not what she really wanted to show. Also, they strike down rumors she angrily answered no that she was Mandy Moore and that she isn't going to do a duet with Usher. As far as the Planet Hollywood story, also denied.

June 18, 2000 - Those that watched the taped ALMA awards this weekend may have noticed that Christina Aguilera kissed Jorge Santos, who was her date for the evening, before accepting Best New Entertainer award.

June 17, 2000 - More comments from Christina on domestic violence, this time reported by Launch.com "right now we're actually in the process of opening my own shelter for domestic violence/child abuse, I'm really getting involved with that: two issues that I feel really strongly about." The other being youth empowerment.

June 16, 2000 - Christina Aguilera is letting her hair down so to speak with Rolling Stone, telling the mag about her less than wholesome wardrobe "I'm 19 years old, and 19-year-olds are going to wear things like that. Just because I have a certain image, everyone wants me to be this role model. But nobody is perfect and nobody can live up to that. My personality is fighting to come out."

June 15, 2000 - Christina Aguilera will be on Disney's Summer Concert with Destiny's Child on Friday, June 23rd @ 8pm on ABC.

June 14, 2000 - Carson Daly talked to Playboy about the Christina rumors saying their flirting on air was just that "The events were strictly coincidences," he says. "We're friends. We hang out and go out to dinner."

June 14, 2000 - Rick Dees reports that Planet Hollywood coming out of bankruptcy will pay $1 million for Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, plus $5 million for *NSYNC to be spokespersons for their restaurant chain.

June 13, 2000 - NME magazine reports that Christina Aguilera has a crush on JC Chasez of *NSYNC and could barely speak to him back when they were both on MMC. She says her career is her boyfriend now though and she added she'll have to check out whoever ends up hooking up with him to make sure she's good enough for him.

June 13, 2000 - The Toilet Boys (NY band compaired to Motely Crue) were on Chaunce Hayden's eYada.com show today blasting Christina for "stealing Britney's image" and Chaunce promised never to allow her on the show.

June 12, 2000 - Ellek K reports on Rick Dees that Enrique Iglesias has come out and admitted the reason he cut off his relationship with Christina Aguilera is because she was "too forward". Her hand is on Enrique's crotch in the June issue of InStyle magazine. He said she was calling her all the time and it was "a little too much too soon."

June 11, 2000 - During her online chat on MSN, Christina said she had just moved into her new apartment in Los Angeles. She also indicates there will be another Making the Video for her next single Come On Over. She added that she loves Mr. Bubbles and always takes her Flintstone vitamins!

June 11, 2000 - Christina Aguilera's rumor section on the official site was again updated. This time they address rumors she'd be on a new NBC show with Britney and Mandy [false], a General Hospital unhospitable appearance [false], problems with *NSYNC [false], and others. Again, no mention of AJ Popoff or Jorge Santos. They also report Christina twisted her ankle coming down some stairs at the Zootopia concert, but she's doing fin now. Her height and weight? 5'2 102 lbs.
