December 24, 2000 - The New York Post reports Daniela Pestova and her son were spotted at the new Hogan store in New York shopping for sneakers.

December 15, 2000 - Vince Vaughn showed up to the Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year 2000 after-party at Studio 54 with Daniela Pestova and Molly Sims, whom he earlier presented an award with to Tiger Woods, according to the New York Post. The paper also reports Vaughn "let his eyes linger on Pestova." Earlier Pestova was in court getting divorced from recently arrested Tommaso Buti. Daniela raised eyes at the club when she danced seductively with an Asian woman.

December 13, 2000 - In a news item fit for being called, 'serves the bastard right,' Tommaso Buti was arrested by Italian authorities in Milan on Thursday and is due to be extradited to New York to face a federal fraud charges for alledgely defrauding investors in their restaurants out of over $12 million.
