February 22, 2001 - MSNBC reports Denise Richards was "practically in tears" according to a Maxim magazine insider over her pictures in their magazine. The insider added, "She didn’t want to do it because she was afraid it would look like she was being objectified." The editor of the mag refuted the story though saying, "That couldn’t be further from the truth."

February 18, 2001 - An autographed 007 James Bond card featuring Denise Richards is up for bids on ebay. The card, item #1409079942, is currently bid at $33.09 and ends today.

February 16, 2001 - Denise Richards talked about being single for Valentine's Day and seemed to confirm her finished relationship with Patrick Muldoon saying, "Hey, I'm single, I'm still looking for my Valentine."

February 12, 2001 - Entertainment Weekly gave Valentine a D grade saying of the flick saying "the movie, which doesn't contain a single scary or imaginative moment, genearates its only semblance of aggressive tension in the image of young women reducing men to sex objects whom they then despise for actually wanting to have sex."

February 11, 2001 - AP talked to Denise Richards about shooting the hot tub scene in Valentine as well as not wanting to be nude in the scene.

February 11, 2001 - Variety reports Denise Richards is in negotiations to play the female lead opposite Eddie Griffin in the comedy Undercover Brother, which is based on the animated web series.

February 10, 2001 - In an abstracts.net poll asking visitors what they though of Denise's big hair at the MTV Movie Awards, 42.1% said they hadn't seen her hair, while 22.2% said they hated it, and 35.7% loved it. A total of 361 votes were cast.

February 6, 2001 - The New York Post reports Denise Richards was spotted at Tao eating sushi with four friends as drooling male patrons looked on.

February 4, 2001 - Apparently there seems to be confusion in the Hamptons with Denise Richards and Denise Rich both making the local scene. Richards talked about Valentine with the New York Post's Neal Travis saying, "I was so flattered that they cast the young girl as they did to play me young [in ‘Valentine'] because she was so adorable. I did not look like that when I was that age. People used to call me ‘fish lips'... Hopefully, I will have my sweet revenge now that people are putting collagen in their lips."
